The Video FX Layout Key Map

This Key Map is automatically created by the Quick Setup Wizard and Window Layout Wizard when creating a Video FX Layout, and assigned only to the DxNothing Characters which may need it.

Its purpose is to provide a simple way to configure custom behaviors when mousing over the Video FX views in the layout. To accomplish this, Mapped Keys are created for you, for each Slot in your Character Set, each labelled "Slot <#> Mouseover"; and these will automatically be used when mousing over a Video FX View in your layout.

Slot Mouseover Mapped Keys

The basic concept of a Mouseover Mapped Key is that it has 2 Steps, and set to "Pressed OR Released" Mode, so that when you mouse over a Video FX it becomes "Pressed" and performs Step 1, and when you mouse back out it becomes "Released" and performs Step 2.

A typical usage might be to use a Mapped Key State Action to enable a Slot-specific Hotkey when mousing in (Step 1), and then another to disable when mousing out (Step 2).
