Having some trouble getting started.

I am no stranger to multiboxing but I have never used ISBoxer before. I used to box 4 mages and 4 ele shaman in WoW using Keyclone and it was very very easy to use. For some reason Keyclone wont work with EQ so I had to use this. But for my simple brain this seems to be more complicated and I am lost. I have tried reading guides and watching videos but it just makes my headache worse. I dont want to run a complicated 6 box setup with a dedicated tank, healer, CCer, and DPSers. I simply want to use 2 mages. I want one mage to be the main and the second to be the slave. When Mage #1 sends pet I want Mage #2 to send pet. When Mage #1 nukes I want Mage #2 to nuke. When I need to med I want them both to sit at the same time using a single key. Also I want Mage #2 to be able to target Mage #1 for assisting and following.

I know some of you are laughing at how simple this is but I just cant figure it out.

Re: Having some trouble getting started.

The quick setup wizard does the majority of this stuff for you.
Other than adding or selecting your characters and the game/game profile, your Window Layout, the CPU strategy (this one is simple - choose the "Select all CPUs with every window" option at the bottom of the drop down), then most of the work is all on the last page.

On the last page, leave the MMO Standard as the selected option at the top.
Hotkeys Tab, you set the Hotkeys you want to use to trigger actions like Follow and Assist, and some of the other ISBoxer functions.
You also select here whether to configure the basic broadcasting keys for 1 to =, which you can either have as an in game action bar overlay, or just "invisible" mapped keys, which means there is no overlay for an in game action bar. From what I know of EQ, the invisible option is the way to go here.

The Game Key Bindings tab is also pretty easy
In here, you set the in game keybind values that are assigned to the functions, so what is the in game keybind for Follow? Set it here. What is the in game keybind for Assist? set it here.
If you have an in game Interact With Target (or Use) set it here. Then hit finish.

Now to go in game and test out what is set so far.
Load the games from Inner Space:
Right click Inner Space in the system notification area and, in the ISBoxer Character Sets sub-menu, select your Character Set.
When the game windows load up you may need to disable Key Maps (you can use SHIFT+ALT+M) or click on the left A-> AZ toggle button, to enter your password, especially if it contains characters (key combinations) that are being used for Hotkeys.
Once in game, invite your characters to group first (as there is nothing configured for this by default, just do it manually), enable key maps again (SHIFT+ALT+M or click the left toggle overlay again), then see if the follow works, then test out assist, and finally test out the 1 to = hotkeys.

Re: Having some trouble getting started.

You can set EQ to Fullscreen. ISboxer will force it to Windowed regardless, although it might look prettier if the game thinks it is full screen.

If the 2 key is not broadcasting, can you get anything to broadcast by enabling the general broadcasting? Use SHIFT+ALT+R or the click on the right toggle overlay button
Image The right button here is for broadcasting (also called Repeater), the left for Key Maps.

Note that the 1 to = default mapped key broadcast setup only works if you have Key Maps enabled.
If you have Key Maps Disabled then the general broadcasting will then take over and if you press any key it will go to all game windows. The mouse too.
If you have Key Maps enabled and general broadcasting enabled, then only the key combinations (i.e. normal keys and/or modifiers) and mouse that are not configured as ISboxer hotkeys will broadcast under general broadcasting.

At the very least you should be able to see your chosen window layout in operation, and even use CTRL+ALT+1 and CTRL+ALT+2 to switch between the windows. If you don't even get this joy then you are either not launching the game via Inner Space as detailed in the 3 possible launch processes
1. Right click Inner Space in the system notification area and, in the ISBoxer Character Sets sub-menu, select your Character Set
2. In the top left pane in ISBoxer, under Character Sets, right click your Character Set and select Launch
3. To create a shortcut on your desktop to launch your team: In the top left pane in ISBoxer, under Character Sets, right click your Character Set and select Create desktop Launch shortcut

OR you have some other software which is interfering and you should probably get us a diagnostic (and in your case it would be good to see one from a session launched under InnerSpace).

Your statement makes me believe that you're playing with Repeater (broadcasting) enabled the entire time, which you shouldn't be.

yea I fixed that already. I blacklisted certain keys, like Movement and stuff like open inventory and character sheet in Keyclone and by habit was trying to do the same here. Starting to get the hang of things but some stuff is hard to figure out.

OK now I want to try and get a little more complicated. Im playing Mage/Druid and I am using the Druid as the Main. Is there anyway to assign different keys to each character? For example 3 is my heal on Druid and 3 is my Bolt on Mage. But at certain times I only want to heal but not nuke or Nuke but not heal. Obviously if I press 3 it will do both. Do I need to set it up with an Alt modifer for my slave account so then if I press 3 it makes Druid heal but if I press Alt+3 it makes the Mage nuke?
