Help with healing

Hi i seem to have hit another brickwall. im using clique with custom grids and im running a melee team of 4 dks and a holy pala. the problem im having is when i use the grid to heal, my four dks stop the dps and drop there current target to which ever toon i was trying to heal. ive tried to solve this using clique and with in game macros to see if they would keep there target but with no success. because everything else seems to be running great. im very cautious about altering anything in isboxer in case i break it .

Re: Help with healing

You didn't mention whether you're using Video FX, Click Bar, a Repeater Region, Mapped Keys, or straight Repeater to do this. But if your DKs target someone, you are sending your mouse clicks to the wrong place! Assuming you're using a Repeater Region for this, the Target should be the healer window (e.g. 1, or 5, or whatever window he's in) and "Block click from current window" should also be checked. So when you click, only your healer should get a click. Nothing happens for anyone else.

This should have been covered by whatever guide or video you used to set it up ;)

Re: Help with healing

im using mapped keys for this. my team uses dps key 1 just bound in game (nothing fancy) to go to the target the paladin selects.

In that case, HOWTO: Share your configuration for better support

I can only help you be less confused by seeing your config. ;)

I'm not seeing healing-related mapped keys. I think you may have misunderstood my previous question. Your DPS hotkeys are pretty much normal. Sure, 1 sends to the DKs and excludes the paladin, etc etc but what I was looking for and I am not seeing is how you are healing.

So I'm going to assume once again again that you have created a Repeater Region over your Grid window. And I am again going to assume that the way you have configured this Repeater Region is to send the mouse to all windows. This is wrong. The mouse should only be getting sent to the healer.

To do this the way you have it except with the right Target:
1. open up the in-game ISBoxer Control Panel with Ctrl+Shift+Alt+G
2. X out your repeater region because it is not configured right.
3. Go to the Repeater Regions tab in the ISBoxer Control Panel
4. Check "Block click from local windows" <--------
5. In the drop-down box directly above that option, select the Slot number for the healer window. I'm guessing that's 3, since the other 4 are in the "dks" Action Target Group <----------- this is where you went wrong and set it to either all, or all other.
6. Click Add.
7. Move and resize the Repeater Region as desired (cover Grid)
8. Click Sync in the Repeater Regions tab in the ISBoxer Control Panel. This will copy the region to all windows, so that no matter what window you're in, this will happen with the mouse. (it will go to the healer) Or don't, if you don't want this from all windows.
9. Click Save As under sync, leave the box by it set to"Auto" if you want this Repeater Region to be set up like this when you launch your team
