The Quick Setup Wizard sets up a Mapped Key called "Example round-robin", in the "FTL DPS Keys" Key Map. You can slightly modify it to use (there is a handy Description box that describes how you can try it) or you can change the existing "DPS 2" hotkey.
Because I think you want to replace the existing "2" hotkey instead of double-bind it (meaning making an additional binding on 2, to also send round-robin in addition to sending to all.. which you dont want), here's how to modify the 2 Hotkey that already exists, to use round-robin:
1. In the top left pane in ISBoxer, under Key Maps, select FTL DPS Keys
2. In the bottom left pane, under Mapped Keys, expand "DPS 2" so that underneath it you see Steps, 1
3. Select the 1 under Steps, under DPS 2. Once you select it, then in the bottom right pane you will see a list of Actions to be taken when you press the assigned Hotkey. In this case, the Hotkey is 2, and it is configured to send an Assist, followed by the key 2 being sent to all windows.
4. Select the bottom Action in the bottom right pane, the one that says 2 -> all. Once you select it, then to the right you will see things about the Keystroke Action that you can change.
5. Check the box in the Keystroke Action that says "Round-robin within selected Target". This will make it so that out of "Window:All w/ Current" (all windows), it will send this keystroke to one of them at a time, round-robin style.
6. For your 2.5 second locking, above the list of Actions in the bottom right pane check "Do not advance to the next step", and also "... for at least" and then enter 2.5 in the "seconds" box.
7. Export to Inner Space
8. Try out your new Round-robin style 2 key, which switches every 2.5 seconds, in the game.
