Char Set Session Naming Problem

Hello Lax & Support,

I'm attempting to use ISBoxer with Rift.
Rift (at this point) forces the use of their Launcher.

Quite frequently, when launching a Character Set (I 5-box), ISBoxer will skip a Session number. As an example, once I've got all 5 Rift Sessions launched, they will be labelled is1, is2, is4, is5, is7. As you can see, is3 was skipped (as was is6, but I don't have a slot configured for that anyways).

This causes 2 things:
The missed IS Sessions whose numbers are over 5 (I've configured 5 slots) will not receive any keystrokes.
Keymaps which are configured to target slots will not be received by the Session slot that is missing.
Slot Activation Keys will not work for the missed sessions.

I've attached a shot of my taskbar after a failed launch. Launch failure happens around 90% of the time. I've managed to get all launched a couple times by closing All instances except the first and relaunching, and closing misnamed until all are launched successfully, but this can take up to 1 hour.

Thanks Lax. I would appreciate any feedback!

Re: Char Set Session Naming Problem

Inner Space build 5366 (new dev build as of tonight) should fix this issue, let me know. If you're not already on the development build, right click Inner Space in the system tray (notification area) and select Patcher, check "Download development (test) patches" then close and restart Inner Space.

Re: Char Set Session Naming Problem

Thanks for the reply Lax,

I just tested this and I'm having the same results as my original problem.

I don't know if this will help with troubleshooting, but how I fix this is (let me lay out a scenario):

is1 loads
is2 loads
is4 loads - After I realize is3 is named is4, I close the is4 AND is2 (if I only close is4 and retry, I get another is4).
I reload to Char Set, and hope that is2 and then is3 load. is4 and 5 usually load alright.

Processes related to RIFT that are running are (for each instance):
RIFT.exe
Rifterrorhandler.exe

Using IS Build 5366 and ISBoxer Build 37.

Re: Char Set Session Naming Problem

A thought crossed my mind:

Why bother troubleshooting this right now? I can get it working eventually, and really the game's still in beta, so might as well wait till release and see what happens!
