Problem whit the portion of the window

Hi. I have been using isboxer for over one month and its great. I find it very hard to configure, i read guides and search for help.
The problem is when I start ISBoxer up, the portion of the window that displays the FILE, hunters, AND the information line at the bottow that shows various information and being cut in half. I only see the type half of the words being display. Is there a way to fix this?
before Legion Pre-Expansion could begin play fine isboxer

thanks

Re: Problem whit the portion of the window

Looks to be a problem with Display Scaling to me. Make sure it is set to Smaller/100% (whichever your says).

Windows 10
Windows 8.1
Windows 7

Although it might not be too. It's a bit weird that you have the black bars on either side.
Make sure the game is not set to Full Screen.

Perhaps provide a diagnostic for crashes (despite the lack of crashing)... http://isboxer.com/wiki/Diagnostics
You can get it on one of the games that is running under Inner Space rather than launching separately.

I did all your instructions, but none of them worked. The situation got worse
Now when running ISBoxer my screen is black.

Re: Problem whit the portion of the window

Well that is odd.. there is no reason why is should have gotten worse. Unless you didn't reboot after changing the DPI settings.

Can you try removing the Application Compatibility setting from WoW ?
Code:
Application Compatibility flags under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers:
0 C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Wow-64.exe: HIGHDPIAWARE
Either edir your registry to do so, or navigate to the exe in Windows Explorer, right click, select properties, on the compatibility tab, untick the option hit OK.
Relaunch your team.

My only other suggestion would be to uninstall Avast (as a test) and see if that makes a difference.

Re: Problem whit the portion of the window

1. Try changing the windowed mode setting in the game. If it is set to full screen, set it to windowed, or vice versa. The maximize/borderless setting may also be of use. (Note that ISBoxer will still enforce the borderless window layout, regardless of what you configure in the game, but this may change the game's behavior.)

2. If the game is in Direct3D 11 mode, try it in Direct3D 9 mode, or vice versa. There's a setting within the game for this, or you can probably just select a different Game Profile for each Character (select in the top left pane in ISBoxer Toolkit, and the Game Profile drop-down box will be in the bottom right)

When I run the game with integrated HD 4000 GPU worked perfect, except for the FPS. NVIDIA settings GTX 670MX is causing the error.
It all started when updating drivers.

Re: Problem whit the portion of the window

We know something changed with NVIDIA drivers and we know that reverting to a past version works around that something. However, we do not want to be instructing everyone to revert their drivers, we want to move forward. Therefore, we need to find out why you (and some others) get this problem and I (and others) do not. I need more information besides "rolling back my driver worked guys" so that I can attempt to reproduce and/or fix the problem. There may be a simple workaround.

I am asking people with this issue to try a few things and let me know if that changed anything, as this is the only way we can move forward in diagnosing and solving the problem.

So please, answer my questions that you just quoted so we can continue in the right direction.

Re: Problem whit the portion of the window

Actually you might have just inadvertently provided important information. This may only happen with NVIDIA Optimus.

You may need to update your INTEL graphics driver...

I did and don't fixed the problem.

3.reverting to a past version works
It worked. Problem solved, thanks for the help. :D

Re: Problem whit the portion of the window

I have successfully reproduced the issue on a laptop with NVIDIA Optimus.

Working on a solution now; thanks :)
