Old eve launcher no longer supported after June 30th, 2016

I am just curious if isboxer will be updated in time for this change? Is there an announcement I missed?

Due to it's idiosyncrasies, it is recommend to use exefile.exe to launch your game instances instead. This is mentioned in several threads of a similar nature to this one, in this forum.

Lax does have a sticky regarding the "new" launcher (although I'm wondering if that is the "old" launcher now)...

The launcher sticky is indeed regarding the now-old launcher :)

Work is in progress regarding the new-new launcher, and launching exefile.exe directly should continue to work fine as far as we know.

How do I tell isboxer to use exefile.exe instead of the launcher?

Either add a new game and adjust your Characters' Game and Game Profile in ISBoxer (select your Characters in the upper left pane, adjust their Game/Game Profile in bottom right pane), or adjust your existing Game Profile in Inner Space to reflect the new information.
