dxnothing res is wrong!

Hello, i am trying to setup a window layout of 2 clients stacks on each other and a third dxnothing window on the bottom
my problem is that the third window always get the wrong resolution it goes under the screen even though i set it up differently in the window region UI
also the window would not come on top of other windows so basically its hidden and no accessible at all.
i have tried using different swapping groups as someone mentioned here but that did not solve the problem either..

i thought at first it might be my monitor res configuration so i am trying it now on my laptop but i am getting the same problem which makes it my isbox config
my config:
config

any help would be appriciated.

Re: dxnothing res is wrong!

I'm not sure what you mean by hidden?

From what I can see the configuration is correct, and the dxnothing should display a window under your game windows. If your game windows are taking the full screen, then they are the problem, and you should make sure they are not set to Fullscreen. If the dxnothing is not displaying on your monitor, then you may need to check you do not have display scaling enabled, or set greater than 100% (and Windows 10 may lie to you so you may need to set this to something else and then back again).

You are missing the setting on the dxnothing Character for "VideoFX viewers stay when in background.....", which prevents the videofx viewers from disappearing when you do not focus the dxnothing "game" window. You can tick this option, and you will need to restart the dxnothing window for it to take effect (you can close the dxnothing and then relaunch your set and InnerSpace will fill in the missing piece).

Re: dxnothing res is wrong!

hey, thanks bob for your quick response,
i am not sure how to change or force res like you advised but anyway i decided to add some pictures showing what happens when i launch the game.

setup picture
game loaded as you can see theres a gap in between the windows

maybe this will be more clear of what my issue is.

Re: dxnothing res is wrong!

Yup, display scaling might be your issue... I linked some references to each Windows version in this post.
