Change graphics settings on windows swap

Hi,

I took a break from wow multiboxing and decided to return yesterday
When I was multiboxing a few years ago, my master always had higher graphics settings than the slaves and it would change these setting upon windows swap.
I wasn't able to find info about this on the forums... any help will be appreciated!

Here is a detailed set of instructions by Lax from back in the day. The process, outside of creating your own macros rather than importing his, hasn't changed. Also, wherever he mentions the Control Key Map can be replaced with the Non-Combat Key Map.

Followed it to the letter (I think ) and it's not working for me...
It's always the same window that has high settings .

Actually the one with high settings is a window I manually set high settings to, so the macro is not doing anything for me.


Edit:
Tried running the high settings macro manually and noticed no difference on screen. Could it be outdated/broken?

Well, Blizzard have pushed a new graphics engine since 2012..... so maybe.

Are you using his macros?

The process, outside of creating your own macros rather than importing his, hasn't changed.

The point I was getting at was that you can't use his old, outdated macros anymore because the game has changed since he created that thread. You will need to figure out which settings are tied to which CVars and then create some newer, updated macros.

One challenge with this is there is no "official source" for these settings and commands; some trial and error is necessary. You can also look directly in your config files (open wow by itself, and try working the sliders and toggles in game, then look at the config file and find out what changed).
