I get the above error when I try to duplicate an image in an image set in the menu's section using the "make copy" command.

Is this a bug in ISBoxer or some setup fail on my system?

It's a problem in ISBoxer that needs an update to fix. It is not setting the "context" for some object (well, not setting an object somewhere that is later referenced).
I'd prefer to have ISboxer 2 (i.e. time spent on that, rather than fixing this particular bug) as you can easily apply a workaround in ISBoxer 1 by using the Copy Image to Clipboard, and then Pasting it back.
