Re: Making InnerSpace X64 the default

flameweaver wrote:Ok just tried this, but to be clear, I'm supposed to be creating symlinks in my X64 folder to point to the existing Scripts folder and the 2 .xml files in the InnerSpace (32bit) folder. Yes ?

Yes.

flameweaver wrote:I followed your instructions exactly, navigating to (in my case) D:\Games\InnerSpace\X64 then using the command mklink /d ..\Scripts Scripts which fails with "Cannot Create a file when that file already exists" - same with the two .xml files. However, if I switch things around with mklink using mklink /d Scripts ..\Scripts and likewise with the 2 xml files, the symlinks are created within the X64 folder

Oops, it appears I may have got those around the wrong way when typing it back here. Let me fix that up. Sorry about that.

flameweaver wrote:Launched EQ2 successfully from the ISBoxer shortcut worked, BUT loaded the 32 bit version of InnerSpace.

When I tried the Launch command from ISBoxer after pointing to the x64 folder, it would start the x64 version of Innerspace for me if Innerspace was not already started.

flameweaver wrote:Finally, as a last resort I altered the properties in the shortcut to both launch InnerSpace and start in D:\Games\InnerSpace\X64, after changing ISBoxer to again use D:\Games|InnerSpace\X64, and bugger me, but it worked. I have the game running and defaulting to InnerSpace(x64)

No idea what shortcut you mean here (or above). If you mean you created a desktop launch shortcut from ISBoxer to load your team, then yes, you will need to recreate these after the repointing of the Inner Space Folder setting in ISBoxer to the x64 folder - these shortcuts don't get updated automatically.

Re: Making InnerSpace X64 the default

ISBoxer 41.12.0216.1 (changes) adds a check box to use 64-bit Inner Space. This setting is visible when you first launch ISBoxer (or select the ISBoxer entry in the top left pane)

You can update via Help->About ISBoxer, or you will get an update notice if you restart ISBoxer Toolkit :)

@Bob,

Yeah I do mean the shortcuts made by ISBoxer, kind of missed those.

@Lax,

Thanks for the update to ISBoxer. Works like a charm :D

As always you guys rock.
