Controlling part of the your Diablo team

Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to specify which members of the team you want to control at once? At the moment I can do all 4, or just the one character. I would like the ability to control 2 of my team at the same time, while leaving the other 2 in situ, is this possible?

Thanks,

Re: Controlling part of the your Diablo team

It is just another form of Broadcasting to specific windows.

In the standard D3 setup (that created by the wizard) you do have another option; which is, if you want a press to move button like the control of only one character, you can copy one of the Hold To Control mapped keys (right click it, Make Copy, rename and change the hotkey), and just change the "New Target" of the repeater action in Step 1 to be something like (is1, is2), using whichever slot numbers you want.

Other target options are noted here.

Bob beat me to it but I'm posting this anyway since I typed it out already. Thanks bob ;)

First, set up an Action Target Group with the toons you want to control at once. You can also set up Hotkeys or something later on to put them in or out of the group on demand.

Then you can set up a custom broadcasting hotkey using the Mapped Key Wizard from the Wizards menu. I would put this in Always On when it asks for a Key Map (since the default Broadcasting toggle is there, and you don't want to disable this when you temporarily turn Key Maps off for something), then select Broadcasting Toggler when it asks the type of key. Use "Group (others in): <your Action Target Group>" for who to broadcast to
