ftl error?

Hi,

I keep getting this error:

Image

Character set:
http://www.filedropper.com/qwewww
was too long for privatepaste.com

I also have another problem. Whenever I multibox I keep getting short game freezes that make it impossible to play, I have this problem with 5 characters, 10 and at 27. My cpu and gpu won't go any further than 60% at a bussy area like orgrimmar and stormwind with 27 characters, my ram won't go beyond 15gb of the 24gb and I have the wow folder on an ssd.
System specs:
i7 3930k
Asus p9x79 moederboard
Kingston HyperX 24gb 2400mhz DDR3 ram
Kingston HyperX SSD 120GB
Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX970

Any thoughts?

Re: ftl error?

You have too many characters on a team to fully use FTL. FTL runs out of combinations after 26. The easiest way around the message will be to select your "second pc" Character Set in the top left pane, then in the bottom left pane select each Slot number (1,2,3, etc) and on the right un-check the boxes for Slot ID ("FTL") Modifiers -- all of them in this Character Set, because they ALL conflict with the ones in "main pc", because the combinations ran out on Character #27.

Whenever I multibox I keep getting short game freezes that make it impossible to play

You specifically mention orgrimmar and stormwind but I'm not really clear when else this occurs. It sounds like it has nothing to do with orgrimmar or stormwind if the game is impossible to play.

Have you ... tried .. anything? Over the years we have condensed the first stuff to try into http://isboxer.com/wiki/HOWTO:Tweak_your_framerate
I would change your CPU strategy though. Instead of Round-robin try selecting all instances use all cores. You can quickly apply this by using the CPU Strategy Wizard.

Beyond that the most helpful information you can provide relating to this issue is probably going to be "Diagnostics for game crashes" from ISBoxer's Help menu. This will list running programs and modules loaded into the game that might be having a negative effect.

Also from the in-game ISBoxer Control Panel (Ctrl+Shift+Alt+G) you can click the debug tab, and click the "Capture State" button. This will grab some info from all of your game windows such as their FPS, CPU assignments, GPU assignments, etc so we can confirm that they are what they are supposed to be. You can paste that back here for us ;)

I set my ingame settings to lowest, ran a macro that made the lower settings even lower, resolution to lowest, vertical sync and reduce imput lag are off, least amount of addons, 10 fps on slaves, all cpu cores for main, lower ingame settings are not possible because it's on a 3.3.5a private server.
Your solution seems to have helped a lot though, I set every cpu core to every character and get ~30-45 fps + if I switch from character I have the same amount of fps.

Is it me being blind or is there no capture state button here? http://prntscr.com/5b6ecx

Also have some troubles with follow eventhough all ingame settings and isboxer settings should be right, all the characters on my second laptop wont follow.

This is either because:
1) You haven't updated Innerspace/ISboxer recently
2) You are deliberately on an older version
3) You are using a hacked copy of Innerspace

The last option is not normally looked upon favourably by the owner funnily enough. Hopefully it is one of the former.

edit: Lax told me you are a subscriber. I was not trying to accuse you of not being one, just pointing out the reasons.

Re: ftl error?

(Confirming it's not #3)

It's okay if you want to continue using ISBoxer 40 instead of 41 but please be advised that by doing so you're giving up any updates to performance, stability, troubleshooting, etc. made since then. Capture State is a recent addition.

Edit: Your ISBoxer Profile says 41 but the screenshot is clearly from ISBoxer 40 stuff.

I may be off track, but the WOW macro's that ISBoxer generates for each character set won't know about the characters in the other character set, so when your main issues the Follow Me command, it is only to the other characters on that computer.
I'm sure there is a way around this on a multi computer setup but I don't know the full answer.

Options I can think of are:
1) Send a specific command to one of the characters on the other PC to follow someone on your main PC and a second command to have everyone else on the second PC follow them instead.
2) Make your own macros. No doubt this will require some careful thought to get right as you have a total team bigger than the 26 that the FTL supports so you can't use that. Maybe the second PC characters just need a simple macro to follow the most used main character on your main PC.
3) Configure the other follow method of target party member, hit follow command (no idea how this works in a 27 man party either)

I could also be wrong (happens a lot) and someone else has other ideas :?:

I am quite new to ISBoxer and I have no idea how to update it. I saw innerspace updating once and if I press "patch these files" in the innerspace patcher, nothing happens. Also, ISBoxer doesnt give me any notification that I am using a version that can be updated.

It did work for 22 multibox (15 on desktop, 7 on laptop), could it have to do something with the ftl modifiers I removed from the character set for the laptop? I dont like to work with follow macro's as it's quite inconvenient if I want to change from character and it's quite a lot of work.
