[WoW] strange issue with Keymaps

so im having a bit of an odd issue with my keymaps not working

i followed the video in the quick start guide exactly but my key maps specifically arent working (inviting and following and whatnot)

i talked to Mirai in the chat room and we decided that the addon was doing what it was supposed to do, sending keystrokes to a macro, but for whatever reason, its not getting picked up by the other client

if you go to your character set and tick the box "Make game believe it is foreground window (the game may otherwise ignore buttons)" it may work.
