PVP - Logistics Multiboxing

Hey there,

I just bought Isboxer and planned to use it a PVP tool flyin logistics ship with 3 or more accounts, and i was wondering if any of you have any idea on how i could do this the more efficiently as possible.

I was planing on Add VFX of my different account to my main screen such as Modules/HP Bars/Broadcast button/Target to manage them the more efficiently as possible.

Do you guys have an idea on which features i can use/add to have the best result ?

Thy for your idea or whatever you can add to my setup.

Re: PVP - Logistics Multiboxing

A warning to start: generally fleet compositions and the engagements they can reasonably take are pretty dependent on the number of logistics ships present. If the FC counts each of your ships as one person, then your fleet is at more risk (you're a bit slower than someone who isn't multiboxing, and if you do crash then your fleet just lost all your logistics ships). If, on the other hand, the FC counts all your ships as one person, they might need to have the fleet bring an abundance of logistics and that might affect the people willing to engage you. The advantage, of course, is that if you're short on logistics pilots to begin with then multiboxing them is pretty great.

When I multibox logi ships (only 2 or 3 at a time), I don't use any VFX and instead use swapping windows (one main window on the main monitor, as large as I can get for the remaining windows on the other monitor) with identical UIs/overviews and full mouse/keyboard broadcasting turned on. If one of the ships gets out of sync for some reason, I'll just swap to it and turn broadcasting off and fix whatever the problem is. The most important thing I pay attention to is whether or not any of my ships are being targeted - losing logistics ships is a big deal, you have to make sure you broadcast for reps before you're going to need them, and in my case the warning sign for this is any of my overviews showing me getting yellowboxed.

You could certainly set up VFX for the important information, if you have enough space, which in my opinion are: fleet broadcast window (to lock targets), target list (to make sure you're targeting the right targets), ship/module ui (your hp/cap plus mods), and overview.

I personally prefer having 1 "clean" window and then VFX on the second monitor (ratting, for example), and in the case of a small number of multiboxed logi ships it just works better for me to have the actual client windows on that monitor. For more than that, I'd probably switch to the 1 clean window and then a ton of identical VFX setups with the stuff I listed above each in its own column.

Re: PVP - Logistics Multiboxing

I've only ever multiboxed two logi, but that was for incursions. I used vfx overlay to display the lock slots, modules, and broadcast buttons from logi 1 onto logi 2. It wasn't too hard to keep up with broadcasts but PVP will probably be another matter.
I'm an EVE bro with extended knowledge of incursions. Feel free to contact me here.

You can use repeater regions and click bars with mapped keys to fly your logistics. It's way more lucid than mirroring all mods on your dxnothing-Instance
