Finally ready! And then.. follow not working in bgs -.-

Was so looking forward to this. Spent money, time and effort to get it all set up and running. Finally ready! Okay now it's time to give it a go! Joined a BG and I'm like 'hey.. what's up.. follow isn't working..' .. some googling later reveals a real slap in the face. Apparently they disabled follow in BGs to combat botting and thought MBing was an acceptable casualty. As if boters even rely on /follow -.-

So, I imagine I'm not the first to experience this exact scenario. All I could do was just alt+f4, all the buzz was gone in an instant. Perhaps I'll mess around a bit later but really.. any suggestions/news? Sorry about the rant but this really had to go somewhere. Have a nice evening.

I quit Warcraft, because of this.

Messing around with Everquest I, here and there.
There are other games to box.
Or Warcraft, if PvE is your thing.

I did the exact same thing.

I had not played wow in 1+ years.

~ Built a new gaming machine
~ RaF myself (2 subscriptions)
~ Purchased isboxer/innerspace

Then read a post about /follow removed. The only appeal of wow for me was BGs. I liked the mass brawl of skilled, unskilled, geared, and non geared players in BGs.

There are solutions for mutiboxing:
~ 2 person mount
~ 3 person mount

Melee is probably best with /follow removed.

There are other solutions to mimic /follow; however, these cannot be discussed on this forum.

I leave you with one clue....google how bots move in BGs. I don't support botting in BGs, but the bot programmers don't use /follow.
