One of the slot freeze after new patch

Just want to add, after doing the ctrl-alt-del, so far I have been playing for 2 hrs without any freeze on my 4 barbs.

I play today about 6h, and haven't even one frozen slot.
I play at 1920x1200 - this resolution make freezing before.
I don't know what change, but today everything work well.

I found a solution to remedy this problem though it is tedious it is a work around from alt f4ing the window. When it happens I load ISBoxer program and it fixes all screens with this problem. I am using a GTX 770 with updated drivers. I believe loading any program will fix this issue.

Yeah just got back into multiboxing d3. Having the same problem and the ctrl alt del thing works but its annoying.

Not every program, but only this, which need admin privileges.
I wrote about this workaround in my first post - when you run isboxer (or any program which need confirm for admin privileges), for a moment screen is shadow and after your confirmation/cancel, all windows are unfrozen.

I've got this issue on two nvidia cards - GTX460 and GTX760

Mildly confused as to the status for most of you here. How many of you seem to have permanently solved the problem?

Ctrl+alt+del is a temporary fix? Have those of you who are using that trick (or launching some other program) tried adjusting your in-game graphics settings?

Ctrl+alt+delete is indeed a temporary fix, however the freezes tend to happen soon after starting a run and using this fix usually allows you to finish it without experiencing additional freezes.

I've tried all possible graphic setting combinations and this does not seem to affect how often the freezes occur. GPU temperature is also sitting at a solid 60-67 degrees running four instances of diablo.

I have set all 4 graphic setting to the lowest or disable. Freeze still occur during the start of the game. But after using ctrl-alt-del the game does not freeze anymore for the duration of the game.

Ctrl+alt+del fixes the problem for me too. It happens to me during regular gameplay. I'm not changing video settings or anything, just grinding and eventually 1-3 screen freeze. After trying this "workarround" I haven't noticed the problem.

I run all windows on low at 1920x1080. I've been loading ISBoxer to fix it but haven't tried the ctrl+alt+del method which will be my next test.

Edit: 2 minutes after posting this my main window froze I hit ctrl+alt+del and then escape immediately and it fixed the window freeze.
