Alt-A Assist not working

I am running ISBoxer with 2 WoW characters

I am using the default Alt-A as the /assist me key combination

When I am onISBoxer1, I select a target and hit AlT-A, ISBoxer2 does not /assist me. If I Ctrl-Alt-2 to switch to ISBoxer2, then when ISBoxer2 has Broadcast OFF, and I target something with ISBoxer2 and hit Alt-A then ISBoxer1 also targets that target. If I turn Broadcast ON on ISBoxer2 and press Alt-A with a target selected, then ISBoxer1 does NOT select the same target.

I used the quick setup wizard to configure my ISBoxer for the 2 characters and made no changes, except to block broadcasting of a couple of mouse buttons and keys (not Alt and not A)

Am I doing something wrong ?

Re: Alt-A Assist not working

Sounds like a conflicting key binding:

Assuming that the ISBoxer Addon is enabled, it is usually due to a key binding in the game set to use Shift+Backspace, Ctrl+Backspace, Alt+Backspace, Ctrl+Shift+Backspace. You can go into the game's Key Bindings screen, and find a key binding that is not configured -- a blank box. Any of them will do. Set it to Shift+Backspace, then Ctrl+Backspace, then Alt+Backspace, then Ctrl+Shift+Backspace, and then unbind it. This will clear out any keys that would interfere with auto-assisting up to 5 toons.

Re: Alt-A Assist not working

Thanks for the reply. However, after resetting the keys in bindings, as you suggested, and not getting any messages about a previously bound key now being unbound, the issue still remains.

If I turn OFF broadcasting on Slot 1, then Alt-A will make slot 2 assist me. Am I supposed to be running the game with Broadcast OFF ?
