Character in wrong window?

Hi all,

I'm new to the software and still learning but it doesn't seem all that complicated. I"ve set up a few different character sets but one is having issues. It thinks I have the wrong character in my 2nd window when I do, in fact, have the right character logged in. Is there something I have to do to clear out a cached file or something to reset it? I had started with 2 guys of the same name and that seemed to confuse it so I deleted one and renamed him, did a File > Clear on ISBoxer and then created a new set.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Re: Character in wrong window?

This message in WoW can only come up if the Actual Name of the logged-in Character does not match the Actual Name defined in ISBoxer Toolkit. If you get this message and think it is wrong, go into the top left pane in ISBoxer under Characters and select each one, and make sure the "Actual Name" box exactly matches what the name is within the game

Re: Character in wrong window?

Thanks for the response. I did what you asked and verified the actual name is correct. I noticed that on the main wow window before you log in, where it says what character it is expectintg, it has the same name on both windows, except different servers. IE: Bob - Darkspear on one and Bob - Stormreaver on the other. It should read Bob - Darkspear for one and Ralph - Stormreaver on the other. Do I just need to wipe it and start over?

Thanks!

Those names come directly from the Characters themselves (in ISBoxer) which are listed/attached to the Character Set. So, look at your Character Set and verify that you have the correct characters listed in the Slots, because from what Inner Space is reporting, you don't.

It also helps to share your profile.

Here is my profile: http://www.privatepaste.com/bb5ce8361e

As you can see one says Phreto and the other says Phretu. ISBoxer thinks I'm supposed to have Phrito in both windows for some reason.

Using the profile you just provided in the last post, adding my own Window Layout, and then exporting, I am not seeing that behavior.

There is nothing wrong with your ISBoxer profile as it stands, but if you'd like to start over fresh you can do File -> Clear and then re-run the Quick Setup Wizard.
