Newbie with a Problem

Ok, so, I followed the Youtube video guide to the T.

I created a profile for 2 accounts.

Set up all my keybinds and what have you.

Exported them all to the inner space.

Launch my character set, only 1 window pops up. There is no "Welcome to ISBox" window that pops up.

Hit Launch character set again, log on other account.

Try all my keybindings, NOTHING worked, nothing is coming up at all.

I repeated this several times.

No idea what changed but when I tried again, I can no longer move my characters properly. It gets stuck in a position and just spins and spins, could cause a seizure it was spinning so much...

Decided to start from scratch, deleted my cache folder and deleted all the binds and stuff I had on ISBox...

Rinse, repeat, exact same problem as above, spinning and all.

What did I do wrong?

EDIT: http://privatepaste.com/345d8a5b6b

Also, I should make a note of it, when I first started trying this, I did get some sort of anti-virus pop up but I simply clicked on "Allow download." After a few attempts of trying to get it to work, this window eventually went away. After that window stopped showing up, it was then that when I started to have the non stop spinning problem.

Re: Newbie with a Problem

Your ISBoxer profile looks fine. I would get "Diagnostics for game crashes" from ISBoxer's Help menu -- http://isboxer.com/wiki/Diagnostics

Re: Newbie with a Problem

Okay. Avast! is indeed one of the AV's that currently has a false positive for Inner Space. It's entirely possible that reinstalling ISBoxer (and making sure it all installs without being quarantined) will fix the problem.

I would also try shutting down some other running programs to narrow it down -- possibly including Avast! and Norton (both may require an uninstall to actually shut down, but at least worth a try if you can't get it working any other way). Here's a few that could potentially help to shut down:
Code:
9. AvastSvc - Process ID: 1500 (C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\AvastSvc.exe)
10. AvastUI - Process ID: 5708 (C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\AvastUI.exe)
13. ccsvchst - Process ID: 1784 (C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton Security Suite\Engine\20.4.0.40\ccSvcHst.exe)
14. ccsvchst - Process ID: 2304 (C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton Security Suite\Engine\20.4.0.40\ccSvcHst.exe)
51. OctoshapeClient - Process ID: 4584 (C:\Users\Wolfie407\AppData\Roaming\Octoshape\Octoshape Streaming Services\OctoshapeClient.exe)
90. TeaTimer - Process ID: 576 (C:\Program Files (x86)\Spybot - Search & Destroy\TeaTimer.exe)
97. wgclientservice - Process ID: 2972 (C:\Program Files (x86)\WeGame\WGClientService.exe)

Re: Newbie with a Problem

I just uninstalled Norton and Avast! and I am STILL having the same problem. I've even restarted my computer three times.

Edit: I have uninstalled these two programs. Uninstalled ISBox. Deleted Cache folder, deleted the ISBox Add on folder for Warcraft. Restarted my computer, turned off all processes as listed above. Installed ISBox yet again, set up all keybinds again.... problem still exists. I don't know why I am not getting the pop up that I initially got however. My characters still spin uncontrollably and still nothing coming up from the program.

Re: Newbie with a Problem

I don't see anything out of the ordinary in your list of running processes, but you should really be getting a diagnostic report from the 32-bit client rather than the 64-bit one. If you're launching the game through the BNet Launcher, then you can go into the options and tell it to launch the 32-bit client.

Re: Newbie with a Problem

Honestly not sure what any of that means. I am using Windows 7 and there is nothing that I see that says 32 bit or 64. I have a Programs 86 folder, however, the game was installed under my Users Public folder and has been there for years.

Re: Newbie with a Problem

You're unsure of whether or not you're using the BattleNet Launcher? I guess it doesn't really matter...

Regardless of the launcher you're using, you can go into the launcher's settings and tell it to launch the 32-bit client. I don't have either launcher in front of me at the moment to tell you exactly where it is, but the setting itself isn't hidden or anything like that. You need to enable that setting, launch the 32-bit client, and get a new diagnostic.

You've lost me...

I am not sure what you're asking... Just not that comp savvy. Though do any of these work?

http://privatepaste.com/f0cf9f8081 (I think this may be the 32 bit you're asking for.)
