ISBoxer - WoW

Evening y'all,
I'm sure you get hundreds of these 'ISBoxer doesn't work right' emails/posts per day, but I have to make another one. I have been tinkering with it for the last 4 hours, and cannot for the life of me get it to work right. None of my hotkeys/keymaps work with the exception of the 1-12 action bar (Which doesn't line up perfectly like all of the video's I've watched), and they're all the default ones that are set with the 'Quick Wizard'. Maybe I am just completely screwing it up or something, but it is absolutely ridiculous. I have 2 WoW Accounts under the same battle.net email, and after I login, it says '______' character was expected instead of '______' ... I know this goes to where you input your characters into ISBoxer during the inital setup, and I had it set correctly. If character A is the one I will be controlling, and character B is the one controlled by the 'keymaps/hotkeys', then Character A should be input first into the character input screen. I did get it to work right for about 30 seconds, but once I hit the default (Alt+F), the 2 toons just started running directly away from each other. I'm so lost it's causing my head to hurt. I know the video on the homepage is pretty simple, but obviously I am completely ****ing something up, so does anyone know where there is a idiot proof guide for it?

I apologize that I have to absolutely make this seemingly simple thing so damn hard, and I appreciate any help/recommendations I can get.

Re: ISBoxer - WoW

This should be correctable by going back to ISBoxer Toolkit and doing a new Export to Inner Space. If during the wizard you selected from the auto-detected Characters, ISBoxer should offer to fix your Config.WTF file's saved account to match what was selected during the Quick Setup Wizard when you Export. Otherwise, if you manually typed in the information, it may or may not have the necessary account information to fix that. Either way, when you then launch the game, pay attention to the popup text that says which Character should be in the window; it will be visible until you press a button. You can bring it back by doing an Export to Inner Space with the game windows up.

I did get it to work right for about 30 seconds, but once I hit the default (Alt+F), the 2 toons just started running directly away from each other.

Alt+F enables auto-follow by default. When you press this button, all that should happen is your 2nd guy should follow your 1st guy. They shouldn't run anywhere else at that point, particularly not the guy you're playing at the time.

If what you mean is that when you start MOVING (pressing forward, for example), they move in different directions, then this is in the FAQ -- FAQ: Why do my toons move in different directions?. In a nutshell, turn Broadcasting Mode off (Shift+Alt+R).

does anyone know where there is a idiot proof guide for it?

WoW Quicker Start Guide -- there's even a video of me showing every last thing you need to touch in order to start multiboxing WoW. If you were to go into ISBoxer's File menu and select Clear, let it actually clear everything out, and then follow my video, you should come out with the same actual results as in the video.
