Re: WoW Crashes on Startup

Going to need another attempt at the diagnostics -- go into the WoW launcher and in the settings find the option to launch the 32-bit version of WoW instead of 64-bit. I need diagnostics from wow.exe instead of wow-64.exe :)

The crash itself is happening from Windows' Application Compatibility Layers. If there's any compatibility settings configured for wow.exe or InnerSpace.exe, remove them

Also check for an update for your video driver from nvidia.com

I'd tell you, but I don't see that you have any configured. Normally you right click the icon on the desktop (or in the folder) and select Properties, and uncheck anything on the Compatibility tab

The screenshot you showed first showed the crash being in AcLayers.dll. The latest paste you gave with your Diagnostics has no AcLayers.dll being loaded.

AcLayers.dll is Application Compatibility, which comes generally from the Properties. However, as I said, I don't see any configured at all.

So, yes, your crash problem if it's still crashing at this point is unknown. You could try closing hyperdesktop but I don't see much else running on your PC to shut down for testing.

Re: WoW Crashes on Startup

Do you have User Account Control in windows set to "Never notify"? If ISBoxer isn't running as Administrator it might not be giving the full diagnostics with the compatibility settings. You could try right clicking ISBoxer and selecting Run as Administrator, and try the diagnostics again. Otherwise at this point I don't see what is loading the compatibility layer.
