Help with WoW Mounting

So I am VERY new to the multiboxing scene, I have used ISBoxer for a while, just never have really gotten into leveling / doing instances with multiple accounts.

I have looked for around 30min or so on here and on the google machine to find a way to mount (When the master mounts ----> Slaves mount. Can I get any help on this, please.

Please dumb down answers, I am sure it can't be that hard I just can't figure it out

Thanks everyone!

Re: Help with WoW Mounting

I drag a mount onto the action bar - on the same place on each toon - and then when I want to mount/dismount I switch on broadcasting and hit the mount button.

There are some gotchas, of course. The buttons have to be on the same spot on the screen on each toon.

Yea thats the thing. The way i have isboxer set up, they arent in the same spot and my two monitors are in a different layput. So i was hoping that someone could help me out with keymaps or something for this.

Or at least send me in the direction where i can follow some directions on it.

Thanks!

Re: Help with WoW Mounting

The easiest way would be to set up a Mapped Key that's tied to your in-game mount key binding.

Re: Help with WoW Mounting

I have got to be missing something here. I have it setup as the guide made it, but I think I am confused as to how I get that key binding into the game. Do I just goto "keybindings" in wow and set it to the same key as I set up in IsBoxer?
Aka: Set the "mount key" in ISBoxer as Shift1 for example, do I have to put the mounts on the action bars ingame and set their keybindings to Shift1 also?

http://imgur.com/qlpn8bp (I don't know if that shows anyone anything exactly, but I don't know how else to explain it.

I don't know what I am doing wrong :/

Yes. Normally, you would've already had a key binding for mounting set up in game (unless you click your action bars) and then you would use the Mapped Key Wizard to create a Straight Key Broadcast and use that same key.

ISBoxer, in its most basic form, is a key replicator (someone might correct me on this). This means that it can broadcast (or replicate) keystrokes to each of your clients. If you choose a key to broadcast to each of your clients and that key does nothing in game, then nothing is going to happen.

Re: Help with WoW Mounting

Well I mean I am just trying to do a simple mount action. I have seen in done in game several times and on YouTube, so I must be missing something somewhere with this. I mean at the end of that tutorial video he uses the debug to show that things are working. When I export everything, and go there and look for anything happening in there, nothing is happening in the debug menu.

From your screenshot it looks like you created an entirely new Key Map called "Mount Up" and I'm going to guess that it's not assigned to your Character Set. If you would have used one of the existing Key Maps (usually Non-Combat for things that aren't related to combat), then it would have worked the first time through.

At this point, you have two options:

1) Add your new Key Map to your Character Set by selecting your Character Set and then dragging your Key Map to the bottom left pane.

2) Completely delete your Key Map (since there's only one thing in there) and recreate your Shift+1 Mapped Key in an already existing Key Map.

Re: Help with WoW Mounting

YES! I figured it out, just had to go to the top left and add the character to that specific Keymap! Super happy after 3 hours figured it out!
