WOW Window will not restore

This is really strange. I run two monitors with two 'separate' WOW instances. I run these with 'Windowed', '1920x1080' and I have one set for 'Monitor 1' and the other for 'Monitor 2' (but that doesn't work as they both open in Monitor 1 and I have to move one).

At the same time, I have OneNote open as well as Firefox, for doing WOW research. If I have OneNote or Firefox or both on top of one of the WOW windows AND click the border of the WOW game window to make it active, it will minimize the WOW window and there is no 'Restore' ability. No matter what I do, I cannot get it to restore other than to 'Maximize' and then it does that on Monitor 1 unless I go back into the WOW Game Menu / System / Graphics and change the 'Monitor' and then click 'Apply'.

Has anyone had this type of problem and, if so, were you able to resolve it?

Re: WOW Window will not restore

This to me seems to be a resource issue. Try running your resource monitor and watch to see if everything maxes out. CPU and Memory. If so, then I think that might be the problem.

Without knowing what kind of machine you have it's hard to answer this problem. I know that with my old i3 processor with 4 gigs of ram I would have some similar issues. But after upgrading I haven't had any problems.

Huh....Don't think it's a resource issue. Alienware X51, i7-2600 CPU @3.40GHz, Windows 7 64 bit, 8 GB RAM, nVidia GeForce GTX 555 1GB. Ran tests on network connections and all passed with no problems. My Comcast connection ranges between 16-20 Mips and occasionally bursts to 40 MIPS.

I'm not really sure what you're describing and I think you're going to have to give us a link to your profile - viewtopic.php?f=4&t=13.

Answers to these questions might help as well:
  • Are you using a Window Layout?
  • Have you purposely re-enabled borders on your WoW clients so that you could drag them around?
  • DX9 or DX11?
  • How are you launching your Character Set?

Answers to these questions might help as well:
  • Are you using a Window Layout? [YES]
  • Have you purposely re-enabled borders on your WoW clients so that you could drag them around? [YES]
  • DX9 or DX11? [DX11]
  • How are you launching your Character Set? [Using ISBoxer Character Sets]

Version 1.11 (Build 5670)

I followed your link and read the instructions to copy the profile as follows:

To share your configuration via Copy+Paste: (includes option to censor account names)
It is not advised to paste your configuration directly into forums due to size constraints.
1. Right click on "ISBoxer" at the top of the ISBoxer software, and select "Copy ISBoxer Toolkit Profile to Clipboard" from the menu. DO NOT open the XML file and copy it instead (this typically results in invalid XML).
2. Go to http://www.privatepaste.com and paste your configuration there. privatepaste.com may limit the amount of time this information will be kept on their server, so make sure to pick a time limit that is long enough to get help
3. Share the link!

However, there is NO "Copy ISBoxer Toolkit Profile to Clipboard" on the menu or any sub-item. Here is a screenshot.

Any other suggestions?

That's the Inner Space menu in your screen shot. The instructions to link your profile take place within ISBoxer.

EDIT: Also, have you tried using DX9?

Haven't tried DX9. Here is the configuration: http://www.privatepaste.com/bc41064487
