Just did the IS development patch, that fixed it. Thanks.

Howdy:

1) Regarding the "-usetdm", are the quotes required around that? Where do I type that in? When I click "Add Game" in InnerSpace and fill in the Game Executable field? Somewhere else? I've tried multiple things and it seems like it treats the whole line, including the "-usetdm" as the executable name, and naturally says it doesn't exist.

2) I upgraded my second computer to Windows 7 Ultimate 64. All windows layout problems went away and all subscreens animate properly. Only thing that doesn't work is I can't click on subscreens anymore to swap them up to the main region. Any idea what's up with that? Initially, while the windows layouts were correct and working, they didn't totally fill the screen, so I could see the Windows 7 taskbar and click on the LotRO ring task icons to switch between LotRO's. Once I fixed the layout to fill the screen I'm now stuck with alt-tabbing between them. :(

Quotes are not required. To set this option, right click IS, select Configuration. In the Configuration window that comes up, click the "Game Configuration" tab. Pick the Game from the first drop-down box, then the Game Profile from the next drop-down box. Once you get that far, you will see 3 options for the main executable -- filename, parameters, and path. The parameters box might say NULL. Erase that and replace it with -usetdm. The executable filename should be TurbineInvoker.exe. Click Apply to save.

Yeah there's a bug with the development build with Windows 7, depending on your style of Window Layout. The "no holes" style (region 2 is used for session 2) may not work 100%. I'll get this fixed asap; thanks for the information. To work around it for the moment you CAN switch to a layout where session 1 has its own smaller region.

Howdy:

I upgraded my primary computer to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 also and again all windows layout problems disappeared. Additionally, on this computer I can click on subregions to switch to them. I'm not sure why it works on this computer and not the other one. Weird. Only difference I can think of was that at one point while starting up LotRO on this computer it said something about how hardware could handle DirectX10, did I want to enable that? I did, it seemed like Innerspace/ISBoxer stopped "boxing" LotRO's so I disabled it, "boxing" worked again, and clicking between regions worked. Woo.

The -usetdm thing, even with instructions, still doesn't work for me (I also have computer unique port set to false, if that makes a difference), but not a big deal at all.

Re: Siege of Mirkwood doesn't like Innerspace/ISBoxer

I was having problem on windows 7 x64 getting it to launch and with windows layout. As of now I got my layout and got past game data error.

First I went as lax stated and uninstalled anything referring to .net 1.1 Framework. Then went to the link he provided in page 3 of this thread and reinstalled the framework from both links. Heads up part 2 does take a bit to install so be patient.

Then I went and removed all my Lotro Profiles. Cleared out everything. Then rebuilt them making sure to use Turbinelauncher.exe to launch each one.

For windows layout I used Region 2 is (Used for Session 2).

Orginally even after I tried orginally to update my .net 1.1 it wouldn't work. It was only after I rebuilt the Lotro profiles in innerspace that things started working. I have yet to enter the game itself but all are up to the character selection screen so I am pretty sure I am good to go at this point.

I had the same problem where I couldn't click the subscreens, I re-did the layout with isboxer and it now works.
But I still have the problem that I can't use Ctrl+Alt+1 2 3 to swap characters, which was my primary way of doing that.
I'm using Vista 64

Re: Siege of Mirkwood doesn't like Innerspace/ISBoxer

You will need to enable the development build for IS in order to get things working in XP post Mirkwood.

There may still be some issues with your window layout, but you should be able to get your character set to launch once you enable dev build in IS and then close and restart IS for it to patch.

Cheers,

Re: Siege of Mirkwood doesn't like Innerspace/ISBoxer

For going between screens I use Shift and then mouse wheel.

But I have 1 issue left I haven't been able to find an answer for. When mouse repeating is enabled the cursor is not showing up in the other screens. I can tell its there becasue when I move it over an npc it lights up the npc to show he is highlighted. I was looking for an option in the ISBoxer tooklit but didn't see it.

After chatting with Lax, I did find I had show fake cursor checked. while its repeating its just not showing.

Howdy:

I uninstalled .Net 1.1, re-installed from the links, totally re-did my Innerspace/ISBoxer profiles and layouts (although I'm still using "1 as 2" or whatever it's caled), slightly adjusted region positions to allow easy access to the taskbar if needed, and selected subscreens is back to working on the second computer. Woo.
