EVE fails to launch

Everything worked fine last night. I logged off, shut down my machine, and attempted to log on when I woke up. EVE does not launch through IS anymore, exefile appears in the task manager for a moment and immediately dies. EVE launches fine without IS. Other games launch fine through IS. I've deleted my eve cache, made a new profile in IS, added a second 'game' of EVE to IS, reinstalled IS, tried dev builds, reverted to an earlier build... no change.

I get no error or warning when attempting to load EVE, just a 'busy' cursor for a moment and nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Presumably something different than on OP's computer 4 months ago (which may have been solved separately in the ISBoxer Chat Room), to be honest.

There's a thread at the top of the forums titled what to do if your game won't launch, and it explains that we'll need some Diagnostics. Let's start there!
