slots lock up 1 at a time in order?!

Just started happening yesterday. Slot 1 screen will freeze, i'll exit out slot 1, relog it in, almost as soon as slot 1 logs in, slot 2 freezes. etc. etc. etc. If a certain slot freezes and i don't close down that window, the process stops there, however, I obvioulsy can't play that toon at that point. Started happening after I updated my nvidia driver yesterday so I rolled it back, and it is still happening...Please help!1

*edit. on a side note, another weird/annoying thing that started happening yesterday, My right mouse button is messing up inside of EQ. When I click to hold, it will repeatedly click on and off in game (like i'm sporadically clicking it and not holding it) .i tested my right mouse in other games and no issues, so this appears to be an isboxer issue as well

Bearing in mind that nothing with ISBoxer changed yesterday, and you began having issues that others are not also having reported starting yesterday...

Did you reboot after the video driver changes?

Can you provide Diagnostics? http://isboxer.com/wiki/Diagnostics

yes i rebooted.

on a side note...my right mouse issue is happening in a regular instance of EQ (launched from DBG launcher) so I'm gonna guess this is a hardware issue....weird it didn't mess up when I tried it with EQ2 yesterday tho.

URL changed to reflect the raw output, rather than forcing a download.

I don't have a solid answer, but others have mentioned this is several gaming forums across the internet...

Check your GeForce Experience settings and make sure that it isn't trying to force certain in-game video settings that are overloading your hardware (and freezing your game clients). I don't exactly know how to do that since I always avoid installing GeForce Experience because it likes to make changes for people all on its own.

EDIT: It may also be Kaspersky or Malware-Bytes interfering, both of which would require them to be uninstalled (not disabled, but completely uninstalled) from your machine before you would know if they were the culprit or not.

Re: slots lock up 1 at a time in order?!

as far as I know, geforce experience doesn't support EQ so it doesn't try to make any changes to the in game setting....this mightve changed with the newest patch so i will double check.

I've had kaspersky and Malware-Bytes installed the entire time, is it possible they could now become the cause? or would this rule them out?

Thanks again for the help..ill keep messing with it

edit* another question that I'm curious if it is normal behavior for ISboxer...When I launch my set (currently 9 characters) if i do ANYTHING, it stops launching slots. ie, click lauch, then open browser. Only slot 1 will launch, it stops after that. This normal that you have to sit and touch nothing until the entire set launches?

Re: slots lock up 1 at a time in order?!

Other things

Samsung Magician has caused issues in the past
EVGA PrecisionX is hooking the game client, try shutting it down
Razer In Game Engine/GameScannerService is another process which has caused issues.

You've got so much other background processes it is hard to know where to go from there, but the normal process is to start shutting them down until it works.

Re: launcher. You can hit Launch/Play as per needed from the EQ launcher, and then the launcher needs to close, and the game client needs to start rendering before the next game process will start. If the launcher starts another process like a browser, then InnerSpace may stop loading the remaining clients 1. because the launcher doesn't close or 2 because it is waiting for the second process to start DirectX rendering.
You should be able to start external processes, and InnerSpace should continue, but the focus changes are usually pretty annoying, so it is fairly normal to wait.

ok, no big deal, i can wait...just wanted to see if that was a fairly normal thing.

as far as closing down the other operations, should I do this 1 at a time before launching my character set? or while its loaded? also, I don't know if this matters or not, but it only does this when multiple characters are loaded.

You can shut down everything, see if it stops crashing/locking up on you, and then enabling things until you find the culprit, or work the other way, and do it one (or two/three/etc) at a time until it stops locking/crashing. Whatever method you choose is up to you.

I would start with PrecisionX because it is hooking the game, and that is usually the first port of call.
Then known problem software
Then I would move onto Anti stuff
Then everything else.
