[WoW] "Pro CLS Config" for EVERYONE : UPDATED 11/13/2012

I am ready and willing to test this out as well. I have a boring job with a lot of downtime and am able to play WoW a lot during work, as well as when I get home for the night. Only class I don't have is warlock, but I've been thinking of taking them up anyway so it would be a perfect opportunity to test from lvl 1 and up.

Getting ready to roll two new 3 character teams on a new server where I will be moving my main. Fairly new to ISBoxer and still learning myself. So I can identify with your feelings you mentioned having when you began. Sounds like this will be a wonderful answer to many ISBoxer customers both now and in the future. So I'd be more than happy to help you with testing. And reporting is not an issue.

The first team I'm rolling in the next couple days will be 3 DKs. But the next will probably be 3 lvl 1 mages. I may drop one DK from the first team and add a healer later when I have one lvl'd up. But for now it'l be those three and I'm open to your input on the specs. I'm in game daily and more hours than I care to admit. Small teams, I know, but as I said still learning my way around. So if you're interested, please pm me anytime. Hey, at least you'll know how idiot proof it is.

Either way, this has obviously been an incredible effort and I applaude your determination! So let me be one of the first to thank you.

Alge was talking to me in the #isboxerwow chatroom about setting up this pro config and I got it running my team so I would really like to help you out.


I currently only get to play on the 2 days a week I have off work but I generally will sit down and play wow for about 6-8 hours each time I play.


If you would be willing to let me test this then I would be willing to give you feedback.

For healing with IS Boxer, what I use is Grid + GridCustomLayouts + Clique.

I haven't a clue where to start when it comes to you, I have EVERYTHING bookmarked that's helped me throughout setting up ISBoxer in the beginning, and let me say, you're about 95% of these 80+ bookmarks... I just wanted to say thank-you and will implement and test your method out with this current configuration so if a end-user didn't want to lead (Master) with his/her healer, they can follow behind. and do their thing. I do appreciate the input and help here.

Because if I have a healer in my team, I found myself taking way more caution by running it as my (Master) where if someone is attacking my healer I can have complete control, however I do want to add your method to this configuration I've been working on and make it all possible by simply running any class within ISBoxer and not have to worry about who's the Slave / Master and etc...

I've been working on a wiki to ensure that everything is listed accordingly on how to use this configuration in great detail, along with lot of bits of information in regards to this project only. The normal ISBoxer Wiki should be consulted on certain questions you may have about certain features within ISBoxer only. Which I'm using Google Code for this project's location.

No biggie on the time, I do appreciate the testing and letting me know your feedback or if there's issues you may see However everything is inside the Macro Sets as you'll see. Hope you enjoy.

Hello

I am new to the forum but not new to the software. Been trying playing with IsBoxer on and off for a while now. I recently have set up using the How To: Configure ISBoxer like a pro and see the power and potential in this set up. I have it working on my current team and wouldn't mind testing your set up and incorporating it to my current set up and perhaps to a monk team I have been considering forming.

Testing Report

Macro Set: Monk
Key Maps: 21-30 Brewmaster Monk, 21-30 Windwalker Monk

Everything worked as expected, no errors.

Mapped Key: DPS Rotation

For the brewmaster I would remove both Provoke and Disable from this Mapped Key but that is more personal preference than anything. For the Windwalker I would move Fists of Fury to the AOE DPS Rotation.

Mapped Key: AOE DPS Rotation

For the brewmaster this Mapped Key is trying to do two different things. It was fine for me because I was only 28 and didn't have the level 30 talent yet. However, at that point I feel this would be better split into two Mapped Keys: one that does Keg Smash and Breath of Fire, which can be used at the beginning of an AoE fight, and one that does the talents. Either could go to Activate Proc.
