The application appears to open two login boxes (two player setup). Minimizes each box on open. The cursor disappears and the screen freezes. I can use Alt-Tab to switch to another window and everything works fine. I can hover over the minimized block in the task bar and see the two login screens. If I click on the block I am back to square 1. The scrren freezes and the cursor is gone.

Can't say I've ever heard of anything like this, but I'm sure we'll need to see a diagnostic (for game crashes) in order to move forward.

Actually there were two launchers in the diagnostics. I only took the top one.

Thanks for the help, but...
I changed the registry, no difference.
I could not find anything specific in the bios referencing Intel Graphics, but I did find an Intel Virtualization Technology entry. I disabled it and there was no joy.
IsBoxer looks like the answer, but I seem to be at an impasse.

Intel Virtualization Technology is not graphics. If it was I would have called it out and said so.
If you cannot disable the Intel GPU (usually in "advanced, onboard" and sometimes called Onboard graphics or HD4600, or whatever series you have), which is highly possible because you are on a notebook by the looks of it, then don't worry too much, it may not be a biggie. Just don't go around disabling anything that might be it, if you aren't sure.
The issue you are reporting sounds like another application is getting the focus and forcing the Windows to minimize, so your mission is to find out what application that is.
You might want to try shutting down some of your other running services and seeing if that helps, like:
This is not an exhaustive list. You can look at the other things yourself.
Your Nortons Antivirus stuff can't be disabled or shut down, you need to uninstall to test if that is the issue.
