Trouble loading

Only one window will appear. It starts properly but is not configured into the location of region 1, its the whole screen. The next instance of the launcher(the blizzard one) does not come up after that. I got it to work just a week ago after trying several times and played several hours with no trouble. However I tried again after playing on one char and it did not start. Since it took several tries the first time I cleared all my char sets and just tried to do one 3 man group. I have watched the video thru the wiki site you provided and have watched it several times. At least I have tried to follow exactly as the directions said. It is pretty easy from the quick start wizard. What should I do now?

Re: Trouble loading

If the window that's coming up doesn't have an FPS indicator in the upper left (assuming you didn't disable it yourself), then you should provide a diagnostic report:

http://isboxer.com/wiki/Diagnostics

Otherwise, your post is a bit confusing and I'm not really sure how you're launching your Character Set. You talk about the launcher, but then you also mention how you watched the video on D3 and followed it, but the video on D3 shows the game clients launching without the launcher... So, which way are you launching the Character Set?

If you're using the launcher then it needs to be closed down between each character. If you want to skip the launcher then, in ISBoxer, you need to make sure that your characters are assigned to the correct game profile -- Click on each Character in the upper left and then adjust the profile in the bottom right.

Re: Trouble loading

If you get errors like this without ISBoxer then you probably need to repair your Battle.net install. Go to the Windows Control Panel and open up the Add/Remove Programs or whatever it's called for your version of Windows, and have it uninstall Battle.net. Then go to the battle.net site and download and install it again.

Also since you're using the launcher make sure Battle.net is configured to close after launching the game. This is in the Battle.net program's General settings and by default is set to "When I launch a game, Keep the Battle.net window open". It will need to be set to "Exit Battle.net completely" in order to use the launcher for multiboxing.

Alternatively, re-configure your ISBoxer settings to skip the launcher -- http://isboxer.com/wiki/D3:Quick_Start_Guide#Part_1:_Before_configuring_ISBoxer

I am using the launcher and it exits when you enter the game. There is no fps in the loading screen. And I did watch the 2 videos on the above wiki link and others./ It says there are newer ones but I don't see them. I right click on the inner space and load the char set. It loads the first char but not in a region as the layout wizard is but the entire screen and then does not load the second char in slot two. It just stops loading. I did see were you could change the -launch in the configuration but I havent done that because I don't feel completely comfortable doing that.

I am unclear what "Click on each Character in the upper left and then adjust the profile in the bottom right." means.

Re: Trouble loading

Two things:

1) You, most likely, need to End Process on any stray Agent processes before attempting to launch a Character Set

2) You can also try uninstalling Norton as it's been known to cause issues with Inner Space

I will try when I get home but I often have many stay Agent processes going on. So that may be the problem. I will completely clear all agents from the process list before starting inner space and I will turn off Norton. I know all you tech people want me uninstall Norton (just a joke :) , trying to have a good attitude in among the aggravation, but i can turn it off and see. It is tough for me to remove virus protection as the untech guy I am. We will see. Thank you for the help.

The problem with just "turning it off" is that it isn't really off. AV programs are designed to still interfere or inject themselves into other programs even when they're "off" and that's why, whenever there is an AV program that has been known to cause compatibility issues in the past, we tell people to completely uninstall them.

You can always re-install it after you've checked to see if it's the issue or not.
