not working

so i followed the video and i can't get the fps indicator to appear in the upper left corner and the hardware accelerator is checked and i have the test patches but it still is not working is there anything else i can do?

I have just confirmed these steps still work. As to what might be causing the problem you are having, I'm not so sure...

Maybe try this: http://isboxer.com/wiki/Diagnostics. There could be other software interfering on your PC. I would also check that your drivers are up to date.

ok so i tried the diagnostic and im not sure what to do i paste it into notepad and every process appears on it sooo not sure wats up with that and i did a windows update still nothing i could make a video on what exactly i did maybe that could help you understand my problem.

What kind of computer is this? I might have to pick up something similar in order to fix this. I think the problem could be related to the Intel graphics, plus this

well the computer is a emachine and a sticker on the front says intel, pentium inside if that helps any

ok im not sure if this was a good idea but i went to windows task manager and i tried to end that process and when i try it, it just restarts itself i cant seem to end it ok so i looked at the file it is called direct 3D reference Device not sure what that is but ima just leave it alone for now
