Copy and pasted answers

I can only take copied and pasted answers to frustruted issues so many times.... the first time. I read the fucking quick start guild plenty of times and yet I still had issues. The fact that you folks say that people are helpful on these forums is DECEPTIVE marketing.

It's already insulting that your video mocks the user by saying reading 7 sentences is too much to ask... and then the only help I can get it a copy and pasted response to a quick start guild yet again.

This product support is so beyond poor is just 0/100. And, that's why I'm not renewing and just saying GOOD RIDANCE.

Re: Copy and pasted answers

For anyone as confused about this post as I was, here is the thread in question: http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3250. It's about World of Warcraft's built-in functionality to break auto-follow during combat. We can't alter the game's built-in mechanics; no matter what you do with ISBoxer, World of Warcraft is going to break auto-follow, when you do a melee hit, or use a channeled spell, period. If you have a complaint about that, take it to Blizzard!

The fact that you folks say that people are helpful on these forums is DECEPTIVE marketing.

At least 2 different people besides me provided useful input, and the only things I see pasted are links. The only thing deceptive here is your attitude toward the people trying to help you.

Re: Copy and pasted answers

Sometimes I wonder why others help another, then get told their liars and etc for helping another...

I'm at a loss of words in respect towards helping people at times, but I know for a fact I'll help someone out to the best of my knowledge...

Now in the case of this guy, and me being a customer of ISBoxer, he can clearly go  fuck himself and his horse he rode in on, if you ask me, he seems to be one of two things:

Teenager with no brains to accept help from another.

Competitor with no brains. (Veering towards this for the reason of wording)

Moral to the story of this guy's thread, he clearly needs to take feedback of his question and build off it, whether it's copy/pasted or not.

TIL that hyperlinking is the same as cutting and pasting. I always enjoy being lectured on the errors of my ways by someone who can't spell or form a proper sentence. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

It's good to see Darwinism in practice - the weak filter themselves out, leaving the Community stronger!

Re: Copy and pasted answers

When I started, Lax was rather patient with me.

I made changes to the wizard generated profile, trying to make my IS Boxer work on the same keybinds I had used for Keyclone.
Not understanding the system IS Boxer used, changing things like enabling FTL Modifiers on everything (because I wanted to use FTL)...

If someone has an issue, and you type up a response that is detailed, easy to follow, and added to the wiki...
Then in the future, give the link as a response rather than typing up another reply...
That is great.
The person receives a detailed, concise, accurate response... rather than you possibly missing something, because you're typing off of memory.
If it doesn't work, they can reply... I tried whatever, but this is what happened instead.

Lax's support has been and is still phenomenal.
No one else is paid for their time or support of the product; yet because it rocks, many return a bit to the community in the form of support.

I understand being frustrated with something...
But giving the finger to the community and Lax is not the best approach.

The support provided by Lax and the community here for ISBoxer is absolutely outstanding.

Your attitude is not.
