FPS seems too low

My computer has the following specs.
CPU: i5 2500K @ 3.3 GHz
RAM: 16GB DDR3
GPU: AMD R9 290

If I run WoW alone and I'm at the garrison mission table the FPS is 100. If I run ISB in the same scenario with one window and no window layout the FPS is 30. I have it set up in ISB to use all 4 cores and turned off framerate limiting but something still seems to be limiting the FPS.

Just so happens we have a wiki article we point everyone to that asks how to tweak their FPS ;)

Re: FPS seems too low

AFAIK the only difference in the two scenarios I mentioned is ISB. According to that document the only thing in ISB that affects framerate are the performance settings and window layout. As I mentioned I have disabled framerate limiting, am using all cores and not using a layout.

Well there you go then, the only possible solution is to not use ISBoxer. To hell with other suggestions and, you know, data.

turned off framerate limiting

Can you be more specific on what setting you changed to what? You could mean an in-game setting, you could mean an ISBoxer setting, or you could mean an Inner Space setting that is overridden by ISBoxer (unless you uncheck a box in ISBoxer). If your answer is "I unchecked the box in ISBoxer" then Inner Space's default limiting is applied.

If it's not SPECIFICALLY related to that, then I'm sorry but there's sections of the wiki document that you completely blew off. A major difference with or without Inner Space/ISBoxer is "Other running software". If you don't care to shut things down at least provide us with a "Diagnostics for game crashes" (http://isboxer.com/wiki/Diagnostics) and we'll take a quick peek for anything obvious. Secondly, the section right after that helps determine if the limitation is CPU, GPU, or RAM related. This is important information -- you have to help us to help you.
