Switching Character Sets

Every time I try and switch character sets it just reloads the previous character set. I back out to the character selection screen before doing the switch and try the reloadui function. All that happens is I am eventually forced to completely close out WoW and reload a new set from there. Any ideas on what I need to do?

Reloading the current ("previous") Character Set is what happens when you Export to Inner Space or use the re-load button from the in-game ISBoxer Control Panel...

When you launch a team with the windows already up, each window should pop up some text indicating the Character Set and Character being loaded. It should not say anything other than what you just selected. You can also verify what team is being launched in the main Inner Space Console -- right click IS and select "Console" then launch your team, and watch as ISBoxer says what it is doing while launching.

There is absolutely no reason for it to show anything other than the Character Set you selected to launch. If it doesn't match, my first suggestion I guess is to Export to Inner Space to make sure everything is up to date and matching your configuration.

I did pull up the console and it says that it is loading the new character set and says it accomplishes the task. But, on the WoW screens it says that reloaded the current set and when I try and log in with new set characters I get the "wrong character" warning.

Okay. What happens is ISBoxer re-directs the WoW Addon to use the Character files for the launched set. When you /reloadui or log out and back in, the WoW Addon will load the new files instead of the old ones.

The "wrong character" message should indicate what toon should be in each window, and that should match what the popup shows when you load/re-load a given window (or Export to Inner Space from ISBoxer Toolkit). So when the message is up, go ahead and Export to Inner Space to see whether or not it matches.

Do your Character Sets use the WoW accounts in a different order? That would mean you have to log out to the login screen and make sure the correct account is in each window, or alternatively adjust your Character Sets to use the same account in each window.

For me, as long as I am in the charecter select screen, I use the inner space icon found near my clock tray.
Right click it, choose the option load team:select desired team, and BOOM.

It will act as if you used the export function from isboxer, refreshing the game windows and displaying the proper team char names.

Hope this helps bc I was also stuck on HOW to switch teams on the fly.
I use to log in and out + until recently for w/e reason I had to use my authenticator on each login.
