Small Main Window

I'm not sure how to fix this problem and cannot find a similar issue.

I have six small windows on the left side of my screen. When I click on them it is suppose to expand to fill the rest of the monitor, and always has.

But now, the main window remains small.

Please help.

I've attached a screenshot. I drew a red arrow at the main window, which should be filling the whole screen.

I forgot to mention, I followed the instructions in the thread about shrunk windows, but my DPI is set to 100%, it didn't fix it.


I also deleted my character set/window layout and went through all the steps to set it up again, after correcting the DPI to 100%

I saw nothing wrong with your Window Layout, so I loaded up your profile, changed the game to WoW (since I don't have EVE -- Not that it should matter), and every window swaps around just fine for me.

I don't know where you might start looking for a fix and I'm not even sure it'd be EVE-related. You might try manually cycling through some windows with the Ctrl+Alt+# (replace # with 1-7) shortcut to see if that allows you to start clicking on them to initiate the swap.

I can click on the windows just fine, Ctrl+Alt+# also cycles to whichever # window. The problem is the window you cycle to remains the same size as those on the left.

In the screenshot above, the red arrow shows what the selected window looks like.

I'm lost because I haven't changed anything since I used this last. No upgrades or anything I can think of that could have somehow changed. I don't know how it can be EVE-related, or what to do if it was.

I'm not sure if this helps, but it looks like some windows are keeping the larger resolution while not selected. In the first picture, the bottom window is selected.

In the next the second window from the bottom is selected. You can see the image is identical to how it displayed as the main, selected window.

(edit) The attachments are reversed, so the bottom on is the first one referenced.

This issue occurs regardless of the window layout.

Here is the new layout I tried and what it ends up doing when I launch the game. I numbered the windows so you can see the relation. It's basically window 1 in all layouts that remains the same size as the other, non selected, windows.

You can try changing your display modes associated with each client. Since you can't really edit your options at the moment on those small screens, the easiest way to do this would be to delete all of the virualized files that ISBoxer creates, then log into the game solo w/o Inner Space, set it to the display mode you want to use (I assume EVE should be using Fullscreen mode), exit the client, re-export from ISBoxer so that the new display mode is copied from the main file to the others, and then see if that changes anything.

You can also try changing between DX9 and DX11 to see if that makes any difference as well.

No luck on either. The same problem persists.


I tried uninstalling InnerSpace and downloaded the installer to reinstall. I continue to have the same issue. It's obviously my problem since you haven't heard of the issue, but I'm at a complete loss as to what to do. Everything worked fine last time I was able to play (Dec 2012), I changed nothing.
