5 window 2 active region layout issue

I play Eve Online and I have a strange monitor setup but I'm tring to make the most of my screen. I have 2x 21" widescreen and 1x 23" widscreen monitor. I have come up with the setup I want to use but I can get the swap groups to work properly. They launch the correct way but when I swap the windows I place in swap group 2 hide under the active region rather than reset they way they do in swap group 1 (default group). Please help

That is interesting indeed. Your Window Layout looks to be set up correctly the way I think you want it. I think there is a simpler solution that will work around the issue while I look into it.

Try this: put Regions 1 and 6 in Swap Group 2 and 3, and move all of your existing Swap Group 2 (the ones with swapping) into Swap Group 1.

ok I found a solution to my issue I found if I setup swap groups in the window wizard it allowed me a setup with I wanted

That leads me to another question I have and that's repeater regions and active swap groups
I want to have one set of repeater regions for (windows 1 and 6, swap group 1) in the layout your looking at mind you I have changed it but principal is the same. Then another set of repeater regions for swap group 2 windows 2, 3, and 4. I will list my current setup.

on the main ISBoxer window you can create "Action Target Groups" just make one name it "hulks" add all your hulk Pilots on it, then create a Video Fx window on your hauler that shows the cargo hold and the orcas corp bay of any of your hulk pilots, lay on top of it a repeater region and set as target the action group "Hulks".

this is the best way to move ores/ice from your miners to the buffer/booster orca and while you pilot the hauler orca.

if you want the repeater region on one of your miners, instead of setting target as "hulks" scroll down and select "other Hulks". (to avoid ghosting) this "other ... "grp is created automatically for all grps you create.

Action target groups work regardless of what Action grp the window slot is part of, all it matters is the character thats on that slot.


my example is with miners, but obviously works also for drones, targetting, Navigation, etc.
