Help with layout

Hey guys,

I'm new at this and this is most likely one of many questions.

I want a window layout similar to this. got my main region at 1920 x 1200 and my 2nd and 3rd at 480x300 (might need to be smaller). My issue is this:

I want my Region one to be int he background at all times (So always on top: Off) and my 2nd and 3rd to be always on top (on). But when i try to change between the regions they disappear and only through alt tabbing will they align again. I want it so that:

Imagine top line is main region (the 1920x1200)

.......1.......

2............3

Where one is active and 2 and 3 arnt

.......2.......

1............3

2 is active and 1 and 3 arnt

.......3.......

2............1

3 is active and 2 and 1 isnt.

So that they have fixed spots and only 1 moves between 2 and 3 but 2 and 3 will never change place.

Does this all make sense? I can't explain it better i think. Say if i have to, then i'll try.

Thanks
