Possible Bug with Mapped Keys

I thought I was getting the hang of what I need to do but now I'm having an issue with adding Mapped Keys.

I just added one for the Pause button, which will toggle key repeating on and off.

Then I added one for shift+w which will send 'w' to all the windows when I need my chars to move. I export all to innerspace, and when I close then re-open isboxer, the shift+w is gone...not sure what's going on.

*edit* just noticed it happens without even exiting, if I add a new mapped key then switch to a different area in Isboxer, then go back to mapped keys, the one I added has disappeared.
*edit 2* apparently if I copy one that I just created, and then edit that copy, it sticks and doesn't magically disappear. still have no clue why newly added keymaps were disappearing...

Re: Returning after long hiatus, cannot figure out key broadcast

All I can say is that sounds mighty strange and you are the first person to report such shenanigans (that I've seen anyway).

I don't even know where to start with that. I guess a diagnostic http://isboxer.com/wiki/Diagnostics, and instead of selecting your game process as per the instructions you could select the ISBoxer Toolkit.

Re: Returning after long hiatus, cannot figure out key broadcast

You know, I can actually replicate that now that I've seen it. I didn't get it the first couple of times, until I followed through with exactly the items you were entering.

When you set the Character Set Selection in the Target Picker to *, it is what is causing it. If you don't set the Target Picker to *, then it doesn't do it.
If you want to send something to slot 1 and the current Character Set Selection does not have a slot number you want, just type in the slot number (e.g. 1) in the Target box, or select the Character Set which does have the slot number in the Target Picker rather then entering *. Note: When selecting a Slot as a target, the name of the character it shows in the drop down makes no difference, that is purely a result of the current cached character set being used as an example of the target. Slot 1 is slot 1, regardless of the character set, and no matter which character set you had selected as the example one, the result of selecting Slot 1 is.... 1.

Is it a bug?; Probably, but it can be easily avoided.

Now if someone with magic powers would come along and break this side issue off into it's own thread.
