Re: EQ in Inner Space crashes

I moved this post to the EverQuest section for you :)

Does the crash produce a crash report? If so, that report might be helpful

dbg.txt in the EverQuest\Logs folder might also be helpful (e.g. C:\Users\Public\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\EverQuest\Logs)

And finally, "Diagnostics for game crashes" from ISBoxer's Help menu might be helpful -- http://isboxer.com/wiki/Diagnostics

Re: EQ in Inner Space crashes

Well, the source of the crash could be due to something I am not supposed to discuss on these forums. You should acquaint yourself with the ISBoxer Forum Rules. Suffice it to say you should shut down some other software that is being loaded by the game process.

Your antivirus is also in the game process. That could be an issue too.

Re: EQ in Inner Space crashes

Its not the other software that crashes the game, norten 360 would be the last suspect?
Is there a work arround?

It would be a good idea to try shutting it down and see if that solves the issue for you. A lot of AV/security software actually has to be uninstalled in order to shut down properly, since they leave things active when you just close the program.

It would probably also be a good idea to try shutting down "the other software" first to see if it is related first.

Hi Lax,

thanks. the other software was already shut down. No help there.
I will try to de-install norton and see if its working.

Re: EQ in Inner Space crashes

To be clear, MMOLoader.exe is no longer running at all?
