Re: Trouble launching Classic ERA

Usually we get some more info to help with any diagnosis, like a crash report or crash dump.

Sounds like there are two issues.

1. Cata Classic launches when it is not desired.
2. Cata Classic crashes.

For 1. this usually means your characters (in the toolkit) are set to use a game profile which attempting to launch a specific client. This recently has been where the game/profile was added manually from the shortcut drag/drop method, and Blizzard have since updated the way the launcher works, but those game profiles have not changed. You can usually resolve this issue by updating the game profile in the Inner Space config to remove any parameters on that profile, or switching the characters to use auto created profiles.

For 2. The first port of call is install the development build of Inner Space to see if the issue has already been fixed. If it still crashes, then the character specific WTF files should be removed (back them up if you prefer, but remove from the WTF folder). If it still crashes, a crash report and/or crash dump is needed.
