First attempt

Attached is my first attempt:

The issues i seam to have is two fold.

Map keys just wont work. I set the keybinds correctly on both accounts and they are both Unique.

Only One that seams to work is party invite.

Second issue is the second toon follows but drifts away from main toon. I suspect the use of right and left mouse key to move main toon and it is being repeated. Attached is my file.

Take it from the collected wisdom of the multiboxing community, you do not want to move your group this way. Instead, turn repeater off (Shift+Alt+R is the default toggle), press Alt+F to get your slaves to follow your main, and just move your main and have any slaves follow using RIFT's /follow.


As far as your mapped keys not working, the general ideas are covered in http://isboxer.com/wiki/RIFT:Quick_Start_Guide and specifically http://isboxer.com/wiki/RIFT:Quick_Start_Guide#Quickly_add_many_broadcasting_hotkeys but for RIFT you are probably best off working through http://isboxer.com/wiki/RIFT:Basic_Multiboxing_Macros_Walkthrough. Although this system is a lot of work and may be overkill for you with only 2 characters. Blame Trion for not having an addon system and making you do it all manually.

For your "Healing" mapped key, you need to set a hotkey. When you press that hotkey on your main it will send Num2 to your healer, assuming you have something on an action bar on your healer keymapped to Num2, just check NumLock is on. If it isn't the numpad keys won't work.

For FTL Follow Me, if it is not working, either change the keybinding of the button on Adlie on which you have your follow macro to Alt+F12 or turn Use FTL Modifiers Off in the advanced section of that mapped key.

For FTL ASSIT ME (sic), again either add Alt to the keybinding on Adlie or turn Use FTL Modifers off.

Also, I noticed you have two "invite" macros in your Non-combat key map with the same hotkey: "invite team" and "imvite" (sic). You can probably just delete the latter.

That should get you a bit further along.

OKay got the following to work:
the assist to work;
the follow to work

But still cant get invite to work in both regions.
I also have a new problem with formations and moves.

Basicly I can not get the region 2 to get the commands to form or turn right or left and and other formation commands.
My toon follows and assists and targets but when region 2 is not facing forward it fails to assist main target.

"I create these Mapped Keys in the General category, because I want them to always apply to every team I make (if for some reason, you wanted these keys to only apply to certain teams, put them into a newly made Keymap, and drag that Keymap to each character set you wish it to apply to). We right click on Mapped Keys and choose New Mapped Key. Create one each for Up Arrow, Down Arrow, Left Arrow and Right Arrow. I have named mine after the keys.

Each uses the key it is named after as the hotkey to activate it. Ensure "Hold Keystroke Action while Hotkey is Held" is set to "On". Each has a single step"

I used this quote and got the single toon to turn left or right but i still cant figure out what mistakes i made. If anyone can point it out so i can leanr thxs.

So i have the invite issue only now to be broadcast to all windows. I think WIndow: all w/current should solve.

Got it fixed by playing. thxs guys. Problem was i need a unique Maped key. I used alt+J for the invite. What really helped was reading the WOW areas and learning more of the basics function.
