Status on Multi-boxing for EQ2 Traditional and TLE Servers

Hello all,

Does anyone have any 2019 knowledge about multiboxing with ISBoxer for EQ2?

Last time i played EQ2 was back in 2016, I personally never had issues with using ISBoxer, even in 2016 on the TLE servers.

I wanted to start the game up again and use ISboxer but did not want to run into any issues in case things have changed.
Went through the EULA/TOS I did not see anything in those about it but I dont trust my eyes these days lol.

Sent an email to DBG accounts for clarification but I remember asking them before in 2016 and never got a response soooo.

Definitely allowed on Live servers. Not sure about TLE.

DBG/Darkpaw won't reply to you and say you can use it. They can't "sign off" on any 3rd party software cause they never know when it might change and be considered "botting". So even though isboxer doesn't have this capacity (and never will), they still won't approve it per their policy.

A little update,
I have been using ISBoxer with EQ2 on both TLE and Live, never had a problem.

I think its all about how a person uses it.

I use manual controls for the most part, I do my own thing but if I see people in an area, I tend to either open up the group to help them out or I go to another area until it is less populated.

Took me a while to get the hang of it, its much easier now though.

Only thing I have yet to figure out is how to get EQ2 maps to show up.

I used eq2 maps on all toons and never had an issue. There's nothing different you have to configure vs boxing or just playing solo.

Did it work for you before starting to multibox? Or just never at all?
