Stop Follow For Ranged in Classic

Hi,

I've got my multi class multibox working wonderfully in Classic thanks very much.

Just one challenge.

I need my characters to stop following when I start attacking something and they start assisting.

I'm having the problem of my hunter constantly being too close to fire but if the Hunter is the lead and I try to move her back, the other ranged characters stop casting because they are still on follow and begin to move.

Any ideas on how to break follow when assist attack begins?

Same as with Retail. Do something which breaks follow before combat. Like broadcast a movement key, jump, use a formation ( can just set a hotkey one the Formations in ISB42 - Base Hotkeys).
Also if you use EMA/JAMbA with follow strobing, you'll be wanting to turn that off before combat.

Happens automatically in Retail. No fiddling needed.

If it happens "automatically" it's because of the ability or spell you're using, and the answer to this question is the same whether we're talking about Retail or Classic: The way to break follow is to cast a channeled spell, swing your melee weapon, or press a movement key.
