Using dual monitor VideoFX setup

Hi there, I am trying to set up grid/clique healing on WoW with video FX. I've been using MiRai's youtube videos (thank you Mirai) but I ran across the issue with the blurry viewers. So I created a new video FX window layout with the setup wizard. My setup is using dual monitors, with the main window on one monitor and the 4 others evenly divided amongst the second monitor. When I load up the character set, everything appears fine. When I click on another window to bring it to the main screen, it works just fine. However, once the first account is removed from the focus of the main screen I cannot get it back. I am able to click to switch focus of all the windows except for the first account. When I click on the viewer where the first account is, the viewer changes focus as if it was switched but nothing happens on the main window. What am I doing wrong? Sorry if I explained that poorly, I can upload a video if it helps

Re: Using dual monitor VideoFX setup

There is an issue with the VIdeoFX layout when configured via the Window Layout Wizard and using the No Holes option. If you really want to have a no holes layout, the only option, currently, is to configure it manually.

So this post from bob lead me to belive that i could just make the Layout manually and it would work. Tried that and spoke with bob on discord so that do not work. Solution so far as i understand is custom layout with a home region for all slots, unless you swap around with hotkeys (The matrix will swap windows, they are just not interactive in the sense of getting slot 1 back clicking mouse) Will update if a solution that does exactly what i requested.

Re: Using dual monitor VideoFX setup

The custom layout I referred to is more than just the Window Layout. It does require setting up some videofx actions to create the viewers, as shown in the video linked.

You might have missed this on discord. I took your linked profile and added in the pieces needed for a custom vfx layout.

This includes
  • DxNothing Character
  • New character set
  • Window Layout
  • VFX actions

https://ybin.me/p/6098b6efe868e96b#umBQQyQHBFBxUHOnEvkwa3wXtBrRAhuSFcqvdeTXZuU= for this modified layout.
For how to check this out, see https://isboxer.com/wiki/Configuration_Sharing under Loading a configuration. The changes are under Characters, Character Sets, ISB42 - Always On, Window Layouts.

As your original profile had hidden account names you would need to fix that up on your characters if you wanted to use this directly.
