Re: Freezes
Freezing seems to be an ISBoxer issue... When loading 5 wow's without ISBoxer I get a tiny bit of stuttering when first entering the world which is gone in a couple of seconds, compared to the entire pc freezing for ~1 minute when doing the same with ISBoxer....
5 instance not using ISBoxer:

5 instances using ISBoxer (cleared configuration and created a new team using the wizard):

In both cases I used the same settings (1080p - good for all of them) and disabled all addons (even isboxer one)

Re: Freezes
This does keep going on and on.
So, I think we need to get really specific.
What is the exact hardware you have. Make and models. Include everything plugged in to your computer.
Exactly what software did you install during your re-install.
What settings do you have in the BIOS/UEFI. Especially specifics for any overclocking that may be going on.
Are you actually using Wireless LAN (I think I asked before).
What space do you have left on your drives
Did you format when you reinstalled
Did you change any windows settings like the power settings, swap files.
How many graphics cards do you have physically installed currently (I thought you said you have 4). Have you used only one physically installed?
I might come up with more questions too.

GPU #1 : Sapphire R9 290X
GPU #2 : Sapphire R9 290X
GPU #3 : Sapphire R9 290X
GPU #4 : Sapphire R9 290X
SSD : Samsung 840 EVO Series 250GB + 500GB
Case : CaseLabs STH10 with 4 rad mounts.
Memory : G.Skill Value Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-2133
Mouse : Razer Naga

Custom water cooling: EK waterblocks for CPU, RAM and GPUs. 2 x MCP 655 PWM pumps, 2 560mm rads and 2 360mm rads and ~33 fans.
Fan and Pump Controller: Aquaero 6
I've formatted the 256GB Samsung 840 EVO and installed windows 10.
Went through all the available updates after installation was done.
Removed installed drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller.
Installed AMD drivers downloaded prior to windows installation (Latest Crimson).
Installed IS (and all the DX updates it wanted).
Not using wireless.
Changed power options to high performance in Windows. Did not touch swap file settings.
C-States are disabled in bios. Nothing is overclocked.
341GB free of 465GB on the drive WoW is on. 184GB free of 232GB on the drive Windows is on.
I have 4 GPUs and I can, if needed, turn off PCI slots so it is as if only 1,2 or 3 are connected. CF is off and I am only using 1 of them at the moment.
WoW settings are 1080p resolution @ good.
All instances are running smooth at 60fps for master and 30 for slaves (when the PC isn't busy being frozen

Re: Freezes
So D3 is running flawlessly.
WoW + ISBoxer + Win10 (?) is just not working.
Going to try Win 8.1 and see if that does anything.

Windows 8.1 solved the problem.

Re: Freezes
Went back to Windows 10 and everything was fine for a while.
Then I started having issues with game freezing again. This time it was a bit different and would freeze during combat (could be for 5 seconds or even 20 seconds) when spamming my dps rotation key.
I tried to figure out what changed that might have caused this issue, and wasn't able to think of anything.
After several days of frustration (even single boxing was freezing, still running via IS for keymaps), I remembered that I moved my paladins from Gnome Sequencer to ISB macros. The way I had it setup in ISB (using pro system) was to send 5 different macros to game on each key press, ordered by priority.
I suspected that it might be related to it and decided to "test" by pressing all abilities myself instead. After 15 minutes of mashing keys non-stop (just hitting all relevant ones together) I did not notice a single freeze.
I then changed my setup to just send /click <GnomeSequencerMacroName> instead and no freezes.
Could this be related to which keys I'm using for the macro key combiantions?

If you send a lot of input to the game at the same time, and expect the game to figure out which of the 5 or more keys it receives are valid, then it can get a bit freezy.
This is because (actually, this is my conjecture and not fact, but it has some resemblance of a quasi-factual basis) it runs all 5+ macros, but the actions in those macros may be on cooldown, but there is a penalty for getting it to process and reject them. The problem here is more the macro system itself and how it interfaces to the core game engine. It is effectively running a trial and error process to figure out which macro actions run, and then the remainder all hit an exception routine which is slow to handle. It is also trying to process all the input on the same frame, because it received it all at the same time.
The answer is to make the decision as to which keypress to send outside of the game (ie. in ISBoxer), or making it a single macro.
Re: Freezes
Since update 42 I havce the same issue. when I load all char at the same time, the second the switch from the loading screen to the game happens, my 2 computers with multiple toons freeze. I have found that if I log on then load one at a time, it works fine.
I have tried with 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and 10 clients and I always get the freeze if they all load together. if I load 1 at a time, waiting for the toon to be in game before starting the next one then all is well.

I can confirm this workaround. When loading all my 5 characters at the same time it freezes. but if i load one at a time it's just fine
