IWT and looting corpses

Hi all

I was a big multiboxer pre WLOD however stopped through most of WLOD and just started picking it up again, now everything works fine except this pet peeve, where when I use IWT to loot a corpse, they all go to loot the corpse however maybe only 2-3 will get the item for a quest, so I have to make them follow to pull them back and spam IWT to get the rest, sometimes this has to be done 2-3 times after a mob has died for everyone to loot it, has anyone else had this issue before?

Re: IWT and looting corpses

To fix this you can do one of two things:

1) Use JAMBA to handle looting.

2) Create a macro that does /run CloseLoot(), and then modify your existing Mapped Key you use for looting to include 2 steps, where the second step is executing that macro. This allows you to interact, and then close the loot window so that you can repeatedly re-interact by pressing the hotkey.

Re: IWT and looting corpses

My apologies on the very late reply, your suggestion worked takes a bit longer to loot now with all of them but I no longer need to pull them away from corpse and have them reloot, I think the main cause of this issue was a change in the way wow works with looting stuff like apexis where multiple people can loot at the same time on the same item, causing it to become "busy", but this solution worked great.
