Re: WoW server login problem

No, it doesn't say I am locked out. The first account logs in fine. The 2nd and third verify passwords successfully but never get to the character select screen. If I hit cancel, they go to the realm select screen. If I select the realm I get the 'logging in to realm server' screen and it just hangs on that message until it times out and goes back to the realm selct screen.

Re: WoW server login problem

Well, I was able to duplicate the problem without ISBoxer, so this software is not the problem. Unfortunately for me, I have no idea what is causing it on my end. It is odd because I was able to 2 box no problem when I first tried the software. Then I tried to 3 box and was able to get in the first time, but my settings were too high and framerate was 1 FPS. Then the problem started and I haven't been able to log all three in at the same time since.

Do you remember doing any changes to your system?
Installing or removing anything?

You could also consider doing a system restore, to a point when it did work.

Re: WoW server login problem

Well, I had some time to test again last night. I think the problem may be logging in to all the accounts at the same time. If I start up a wow session and log in to the first account all the way before launching the 2nd wow session, I can log into the 2nd. Then once the 2nd is logged in all the way, I launch the 3rd session and I can log into that one. I did this w/o ISBoxer so tonite I will try the same thing with ISBoxer and see if I can get in that way.

I dunno why my setup can't handle logging into all in rapid succession. It must be something with the realm server connections. I was confused because sometimes clearing my WTF folder allowed me to get back in while other times it did not. :?

Re: WoW server login problem

What kind of router do you have for your network?

When I was at my in-laws last month I was having a problem where logging in all my guys would cause the network to disconnect everyone else in the house, dropping them from the game if they were already in it, it was ridiculous. Then I looked up the model of their router and found out that to solve this problem, the wireless had to be set to "B" mode only otherwise it would drop all connections (even the wired ones) when I'd try to log into WoW on my accounts!

This little story is mostly meaningless except to say that it might be something completely unrelated to ISBoxer that just happens to show up now. And that if you set your router to B-only or G-only mode instead of Mixed B/G mode, it might be more stable

Re: WoW server login problem

I will try that. I use a dlink WBR-2310. I've always had weird problems with it, from disconnects to problems connecting at startup. Maybe this has been the problem all along.

Re: WoW server login problem

Hi also reporting a similar thing. Last night WOW would not log in either through using ISBOXER to open 5 copies or through just openning one copy. Tonight I can log in on a single copy of the game not using ISBOXER but when I use ISBOXER it is saying that my password or account email details are not correct. Its worked fine until now which is strange. Have tried clearing my config did figure that out and I went through learning the painful way around turning key maps off before trying to enter a password so I am happy it is not that. Just keen to know whether this is a big issue for users? or probably a stupid error by me (cant see it at the moment but not writing that option off!)

If you're getting an incorrect password error through ISBoxer only I'm going to wager money that it's actually your keymaps that are
interfering (even though you stated they aren't.) I could be wrong, I have been before; but, you can double check this by typing out
your password in a document or text file and then copying and pasting it into the password field on the login screen.

Re: WoW server login problem

Thanks MiRai for ther reply, I did at the start have to work out turning key maps off when I first started using ISBOXER a couple of months ago, I have not recently altered anything within the software but being a basic computer user I would not stake my life on it not being my fault somewhere down the line. I will try what you recommend and give it a go. There were some recent updates for windows that I will just check on as I think I read somewhere that some programs affect ISBOXER so will check it is not that. I previous restore point may help the matter out, we will see. Once again thanks for the advice to a beginner.
