Re: UI mods for multiboxing

There isn't really any specific setup to do. If you create your team and select WoW as the game, ISBoxer will include some JAMBA items, which is mainly setting Jamba Master when you switch toons, and when triggering follow it includes a jamba command in the macro.

Most of the rest of any setup is Jamba specific or ISBoxer specific and they don't cross over. Although it is possible your gameplay style may include issuing specific jamba commands off at times, at which point these are either tied to keybinds, which you can trigger, or they are included in a Named WoW Macro.

I see. Somehow I haven't felt any need to Jamba right now. Maybe when I level up higher.

Re: Setting Up JAMBA

I'm new here as well and hoped this thread had some info about Jamba as I try to find out how to get my minions to take the same "taxi" and go through portals without me swapping windows and push each one of them.. Yes I do know there is ment to go smooth by hooking it in Jamba, but no it still not work out..

Re: Setting Up JAMBA

I don't play WoW, but in the games I have played, portals are a PITA, but I usually find broadcasting W (or whatever you have Forward bound to) works wonders. In fact I tend to setup ISBoxer to Re-map CTRL+W to W, but send to All Windows, so there is no mucking around with turning stuff on/off.

Re: Setting Up JAMBA

Within Jamba for WoW, I use the check box "toons follow leader" for taxi. However for portals and what not I do broadcast click, unless it is a portal that i can walk thru. At that point i Just follow train in and broadcast a forward key stroke or autorun right before entry.

Above is a decent lil guide to jamba to help with a lot of novice questions.

Re: Setting Up JAMBA

I setup my normal arrow keys so that they only control my slaves and have no effect on the master.
I did this by removing the up,down, left, right from each accounts keybindings.
Replaced forward, backwards, strafe left, strafe right with ctrl+alt+shift+up, down, left, right.
then have a movement keymap that houses all my tweaks. So when I press up on the master, my slaves get ctrl+shift+alt+up
For portals, it's simple.
This shines for movement in fights and getting out of stuff opposes to just using follow to move them with the master.
I have down mapped to my naga to quick follow breaks.

I'm pretty sure there is a variable keybind option to do this as well but I "made" this fix up for myself a very long time ago and just stuck with it. :)
