EQ crashing on camp

I'm having an issue with some combination of Inner Space, Windows 10 and EverQuest.

If I run EQ via Inner Space, the game client crashes everytime I camp out. Without Inner Space it works.

I've tried with and without antivirus, both x86 and x64 versions of Inner Space, a brand new install of EQ and even is clean version of Windows 10. To me, it looks like the issue is when EQ tries to open the "please subscribe" page in Internet Explorer.

Any suggestions of what else I can try?

Change your default browser to Chrome.

Nope, I'm afraid it still crashes. Edge was the default before, but swapping it to Chrome, the page still wants to open in Internet Explorer.

I should have mentioned in the original post I've also tried with and without admin privileges.

I've just borrowed my brother's All Access account. I created a new character, logged in, camped out and it worked fine. Did the same on my silver account, and it crashes so it must be related to the page that EQ tries to open in Internet Explorer.

Because I can log in and create the set up of my UI for my team, the crashing on camp is now an annoyance rather than a deal breaker.
