Isboxer Pro System question

Hello,

I have currently got an issue with my setup on the Pro System. I have followed the guide to the letter (I hope) this time and there is an issue that two of my 3 hunters is not doing anything. Basically on Mirai's videos he was using mixed groups, and each character had a profile. In my case all 3 dps are hunters. I don't think it makes any difference.

I have tried to create 3 sets of hunter class key maps, each character has its own virtual mapped keys designated to their own class keymap. There really shouldn't be an issue.

its the same pastebin but it haven't changed except that I made 2 more sets of Hunter Class keymap to try if that was the issue. All 3 hunters are using exact same dps macro and they all have 2 as the dps rotation key.

Edit: I am still trying to figure out what I did wrong, and I noticed both of the dps that is not doing anything the 2 key is not responding.

Well, you have 5 characters, so I'm not sure which 3 are hunters, BUT, none of your characters have any of the virtual assisngments that are normally configured for a Pro-Config.

Also, none of your Hunter Key Maps are assigned to any character (or character set). Not that you need multiple Hunter key maps, unless you are doing wildy different configurations for each hunter.

This is the updated version where I had most of the thing working. I am now trying to use the Isboxer macro to see if it works but no luck. Its like the two hunters have their dps key (which is 2) stuck. it doesn't respond in game too which explains why they are not doing anything, As to why its stuck I cannot tell.

Edit: the last 3 characters Ayaka, Maanya and Manaka are the hunters. Ayaka's macro is firing up no problem. The other two is not.

So you should only set Hotkeys in the Combat Hotkeys key map. Don't set hotkeys in the class specific key maps. The virtualisation should take care of passing through the mapped key from Combat Hotkeys to Virtual Combat, which is then replaced by the appropriate Key Map according to your virtualisation settings.

Second, you have Game Helpers -> World of Warcraft -> Hunter -> DPS macro set to use a Hotkey of 2. If this key also happens to be used by anything other keybind (like the default in game action bars), then you may get unpredictable results. Ideally you can set the macro keybinds to something you don't normally press. Also if you change the Game Helper macro set, then you either need to log out to the char select screen, or do a /console reloadui in order to get WoW to reload the Addon.

Thanks for the reply. I have managed to fix it.

It looks like it was the macro itself that was faulty. I corrected the macro ingame and now it seems to work. still have to study the macro commands as I level up(still level 8). Thanks again.

P.S. If it serves as a guidance to what was wrong with the macro, for some odd reason I had /stopmacro [noncombat] right at the begining. I corrected on my first hunter before but I forgot about the other two. Since you never entered combat, macro failed to fire it up.

Ok I still can't figure why the macros are not working when I add a new one. Yesterday after a disconnection well my DPS rotation stopped working. I understand how the pro system works with each keybind however I don't understand why its not working. Basically so far I got the Single DPS which is the DPS Rotation bound with "2" in COMBAT HOTKEYS only. The 2 key is suppose to be a macro made ingame. I know it can be made in ISBoxer as well just never managed to get it work. It looks simple and obvious on the guide videos but in practice it doesn't work for me.

Now strangely enough the DPS ROTATION works now by asigning 2 in ISBoxer and it is told to send 3 ingame. Now I want to add an AOE DPS ROTATION with hotkey of 3, which send the keystroke of 4 ingame. This so far only warks for the warrior, which 4 is bound to thunderclap (ability) and hunters also have Multishot on 4. It responds to the warrior on every character but not the hunter UNLESS you are controling one of them. Then it works for the controled hunter and the warrior. No one else. The priest does not have a rotation key asigned since she only heals.

I simply want to understand how I can get it to work since every time I need to add a new DPS key in ISBoxer I am spending hours trying to figure it out why its not working. I did read the wiki but its still doesn't explain what I am doing wrong.

Edit3: ok maybe I am starting to understand but I could be completely wrong. Now I found out that it only works when you are in combat. Probably because its under COMBAT HOTKEYS it only works when you are in combat? Since when I want to open up with multishot I clearly can't because I am not engaged yet.

I see nothing wrong with the profile you shared minus the additional step options you have enabled in the Prot Warrior Mapped Key—You're telling the keystroke to only be sent to the game client once every .5 seconds no matter how many times you hit the key. This seems unnecessary and, unless you have a good reason for having that enabled on a 1-step Mapped Key, I'd remove it.

"Combat Hotkeys" is merely a text label, and that is all, as ISBoxer cannot read or sense that you're in combat. If I had to guess why macros weren't working until in combat, I'd have to assume that you are still using /stopmacro [nocombat] in your macros, or that your macros are written incorrectly and are not flowing how you think they should be.

Found out the culprit and it was a very very stupid thing. Obviously others won't do anything if they don't have a target. Putting the assist function on the aoe did the trick. It was false that it only triggered on combat. It only triggered when they had a target. I feel so dumb. Sorry and thanks for the reply.
